Being a family of music lovers and musicians, Fairfield Trumbull School of Music has been an integral part of our music education and a wonderful experience. Our three youngest have taken lessons there for several years and from the piano teacher to the drum and electric guitar teachers ALL have been amazing! Dan, Tracy & their staff maintain a high level of professionalism & quality instruction while still having a personal connection with each student. They allow them to perform their favorite genres while simultaneously ensuring they learn the fundamentals they need to succeed. We highly recommend FTSM whether your child is just starting out or needing to hone their musical skills!

I was a student at this school taking piano for around four years, and there's not a doubt in my mind that this is a fantastic school to consider if you want to learn how to play an instrument. The staff there is extremely kind, and based on the performances of other students at the recitals, I can tell they make significant progress with their students. My teacher for all four years was Mike, and he made sure all those years were a great experience. He's an excellent instructor and made piano an even more fantastic experience for me. Dan, Tracy, and the rest of the staff did a great job of making me feel welcomed and cared about, and I can't recommend signing up for this school enough.

I took voice lessons at Fairfield/Trumbull School of Music starting in 8th grade I'm a freshman in college now! I also took guitar lessons there for several years. Dan and Tracy are two of the most amazing, kind-hearted people you will ever meet and I consider them like family. All the teachers are so welcoming, experienced and friendly; it is such an amazing environment to send your kids! I grew so much over the five years I went to Fairfield/Trumbull School of Music and would not be the person or singer I am today without the support and encouragement I received from Dan, Tracy and all the staff.

Lessons at Fairfield Trumbull School of Music have been a great experience for my child and I. The owners, Dan and Tracy Carlucci, provide a professional but still very personal environment, knowing each student. The lessons are tailored to my child's interests yet still provide a challenge to grow musically. This is the third year I have enrolled my 11 year old at the Fairfield School of Music. This is a school that have many different music programs for both adults and kids. My 11 year old have been taking Simply Music piano lessons with Ms. Diane and is loving it! This is a program that teaches you how to play different type of music, chords on the piano first and reading music notes as you move up the level. During the school year, there are many opportunities for your child to perform in front of the others, such as The Halloween Howl in October, Holiday Recital in December and many other special events within the community. The owners Dan and Tracey are both musicians who is ready to answer any questions your have and is quick in responding to emails. This is a school with great atmosphere, experienced teachers and professional staff!

We love this school - signed up our son for second year running. We take simply music lessons with Diane and she is simply awesome... I see great progress and my son loves it... it also comes effortlessly. Exceed all my expectations. Owners are great communicating, mailing emailing - feels really good and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I was a student at the FSM for many years and it set me up to become the musician I am today. I took piano/guitar and have had many teachers throughout the years. Had it not been for FSM, I’m not sure where’d I’d be today musically. Each teacher and staff member welcomed me with open arms and always pushed me to do better, and I was extremely grateful for my experience. If you’re looking to get basic skills on an instrument or improve your skills, this is the place to go. Every teacher really invests in their students, and I know many other students who would agree that this place set them up for future success. All of my teachers there exposed me to different genres and styles of playing and they greatly expanded my musical vocabulary. I’m now studying music in college and FSM was really a home away from home where I could express myself and improve my musical abilities. If you’re considering going here, you definitely should!

I was at FSM for 6 years! I studied voice and I learned so much during my time there. The teachers are great and really helpful. They are willing to help you learn and prepare for whatever will help you succeed. I often would bring audition pieces to my teacher, which was really cool. I'm so thankful for my years there and believe that it really prepared me for my future in the arts!
