I am a independent dog walk & pet sitter for the past 11 years. When my part time babies come to stay with me, they know that they get to eat all of the most delicious, smelliest, kinda grossest stuff they aren’t usually allowed to have at home. I’ve shopped online, bulk stores, and you will NOT find a better selection of all natural chews and treats at a more affordable price then at Fairmount Pet Shoppe! Dog food, supplements, toys, jackets, all cat items as mentioned above. Even small animal! They have a freezer if you are feeding raw. Call ahead and they will special order! FPS I a small locally run business that is exactly what everybody is looking for! Phenomenal customer service, Greeted when you enter the door, recommendations should you need any. The owner is the sweetest woman in the world and you’ll see after meeting the staff, any the money you save, why you’ll keep going back. Don’t see what you want? Ask if they can order it! You won’t be disappointed!
I came here for a clicker, a good laser pointer, wet food and a fun wand toy for our two cats, Bruce and Google. The shop is small but well stocked. There were three staff members inside, one human and two cats. The store had a great selection and I found everything I needed and some a bonus Hanukkah mouse that was 50% off. The two shop cats are lovely and adorable. They were sleeping together in a box at the checkout counter. Highly recommend going to this shoppe.
Excellent store. My cat is very happy about his new harness. because he can hang out on the roof with us now I'll be back to pick up more toys and litter over the years. Great store. Cute and very well behaved cats in the store.
Great place, I get my Blue Ridge Beef from here every week. Even if they are out they will place a order get it in 1-2 days and call me. I Love this pet store.
I got my sweet baby here, and I love her to the moon & back. The adoption process was relatively easy, they do check references and ask all the right questions to get you vetted prior to approving adoption so you can’t really walk in same-day to adopt, but it’s worth the wait. I love my sweet girl.
Great service. Needed food for my pet and the lady who was working there helped out me alot. That's not the first nor will it be the last time I've been there.
Super cute! They have a great selection of unique and novel cat and dog toys. Their prices are cheaper than many other independent shops I've seen. Their window has adoptable cats through Green St Rescue, which is a top tier partner organization. They're helpful and, despite the size of the shop, have a wide range of food selections, all through good and healthy brands. Also, the two feline managers are very cute.
A great store that has everything for your dog or cat, and if they don't they will order it. They care very much. Good bully stick selection and prices.
I love them! They put stuff on hold if you call ahead and it only a few left. Always nice and respectful
It's so wonderful to have such a well-stocked pet shop in the neighborhood. The employees, both human and feline, are always pleasant and helpful. As a dedicated cat owner the shop's cat supplies help keep my indoor kitty entertained and engaged during playtime. I 100% recommend the cat nip bananas they have in stock.
