Love this place! Very professional and willing to take time to talk about exactly what your vehicle needs. I really appreciate the attention to detail and practice of kindness. Many mechanics can rush you and this place is very refreshing.

Jim and his team were awesome. We were passing through town and had a problem with our spare tire. Jim quickly took care of the tire and us so we were back on the road. Really nice folks.

My mother in law took her car in for tire rotation and wheel balance. Said she needed a new wheel (stock, not custom), quoted her $248 just for the new stock steel wheel. That did not even include mounting and balancing. Unbelievable!!!!
Turns out, her wheels are fine! Way to try taking advantage of the elderly, good thing her son in law is a mechanic!

I would not recommend this place to my work enemy. They were aware that I was in distress when I came to their shop, as my vehicle had to be towed in. I live near downtown San Diego, so I am 45 miles away from home. I basically needed a $10 seal and transmission fluid. They overcharged for part and labor. After repair was done, my vehicle still did not work. I was told that my vehicle was stuck in second gear and that I needed a transmission. At this point I am very angry and decided I would have my vehicle towed home. So next day I came to pick up vehicle. It turns out I was able to drive my vehicle home, and it was not stuck in second gear. I took vehicle to another mechanic, and was told the speed sensor should have been replaced, when the seal was put in. If you are passing through Alpine, stay away from this place.

I recently took my 2004 Mercury Marauder to the shop in Alpine on Saturday. the problem was electrical the was induced by the previous owner. I expected it to be a difficult problem to solve. On Saturday, there was a problem with the door sensor that went bad and was repaired, however, because of the wrong LED bulbs installed by last owner, it caused the problem of losing the left and right turn signals. It was the end of the day and we decided to have me return the car on Monday. I had to take a day off but that is OK to get the job done right. I received a call saying I needed a new light control module to fix the lights. I ok'ed the work. I later received a call the the module was not needed as there was a wiring problem and was not charged for the module. I am extremely satisfied with the work performed to bring my car back to normal operation. Alpine Family Auto repair will be the only folks to touch my car from now on. Theresa was exemplary in her ability to take my babbling of the problem and turn it to language understandable to the technicians. Daniel is amazing on spelling out every step to be taken and the time involved. As we say in the Navy "BRAVO ZULU" for a job well done.
