I've been a long-time customer here! Over the years I've always found exactly what I'm looking for. I've had both a guitar and ukulele repaired beyond expectation, purchased instruments, and have also taken lessons here. My 10-year-old is currently taking singing with Marcie. She started about 8 months ago and loves it. Her confidence in singing has grown noticeably and she looks forward to her lesson each week. I take piano with Larry. As an adult beginner I was a little nervous to start. Especially in considering his impressive musical background. He met me exactly where I was at, is encouraging and simplifies the piano in a way I haven't experienced before. He listens to the style of music I'm most inspired by, and curates our lessons around that. We also have experience with Candace, who spent many months with my daughter on flute. The teachers aren't only incredibly skilled in their artistry, but it's obvious they sincerely care about their student's musical journey. I have a lot of good I could say about Family Music. The biggest motivator in keeping me as a return customer, is that they're locally owned and operated by some really awesome people. All of the staff are helpful, kind, and seemingly down to earth. Their customer service feels like talking to your friendly neighbor, which I find to be incredibly refreshing. I love this place and I won't shop anywhere else for what I can find here.

This was the best customer service I have experienced at any store - hands down. I went in expecting to play a few pianos and walk away, but the prices were too good to walk away from! I purchased a digital piano and Pat delivered it to my apartment in his personal vehicle at no additional charge! One of the keys was not working after I assembled it, so I called the store and explained the situation. They found the same piano in another location, assembled and tested it in store, and scheduled a personal delivery to me the next day. I could not be more impressed. Pat went above and beyond - even calling to check in and remind me about the warranty... should any issues arise with the piano in the next five years, I just need to call the store and they will take care of it. I am confident they will, too, based on this first experience. Thank you, Family Music Centers!

Came to my favorite music store the other day and spent about 1/2 an hour playing the Bergmann grand piano. What a beauty with an amazing rich and mature sound. The keys feel nice and heavy and full action. After about 10 minutes when my fingers were warmed up, it was feeling just right. They also have a beautiful Yamaha grand at the front of the store when you walk in. These guys do pianos right. Nice staff and very knowledgeable. I look forward to coming back.

This place was excellent!! I’m so happy that we can because Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, walked us through the process of buying a piano and what to look for without us feeling any pressure. After playing multiple pianos in the room we found an amazing piano and are super excited to have it delivered to our home. Super appreciate Pat and his help, and is was definitely a place that I recommend purchasing an instrument.

So far so good. We had a wonderful experience here. Pat was warm and friendly right from the beginning. We just came here from a negative experience at another piano store and the experience was night and day. Not only was Pat friendly and helpful but the owner himself took the time to sit down and demo. the piano that I was interested in! When does that ever happen? What a great place. My piano comes in next week! I bought a Kwai mico baby grand! Can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted on the delivery service but I expect it will be a positive experience as well. It just seems to be how they do business here.

bought a used 5 string bass here. great experience, good environment. I got to try out the bass and the salesman gave me a great deal couldnt pass up. they dont have a huge selection of electric guitars and basses but I was super lucky to find exactly what I was looking for.

If I could I would give this place negative reviews. I called at 2:45pm to ask if they have a specific product and the person I spoke to said they did. I arrived at 4:30 and they do not even carry it. The person tried to sell me something else. I would not have made a trip to this store if they did not have the product I’m looking for. I don’t like being lied to. This was my first and definitely last time going here. I will take my business elsewhere. Never ever again.

Family Music is by far the best guitar shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Definitely worth a visit, just guitars of highest quality! Their staff is extremely helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The guitars are beautifully setup and they carry some of the most stunning instruments I have ever seen/heard. Really friendly staff. The prices are great. Music lessons are offered as well as instruments. They are simply amazing. Hope to be back soon :

If I could give a negative rating, I would be more than happy to do so. I ordered a piano from a sale that was from this store. This is the absolute worst customer service that I have received from in my ENTIRE LIFE! The owner or the employees don't inform nor do they provided updates on the delivery status. I understand the COVID-19 situation, however, it would be in the best interest of the business to at least inform and update their customers when there are problems and longer waits rather than just keep the customer in the dark and make them ultimately worried.

My grandson and nephew love this place and their piano teacher, Jenny. I had an accounting issue and they took care of me. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even ran into Brendan Urie’s dad of Panic at the Disco. He was so nice.
