We stayed at the campground attached to this picnic area in September 2018. It is secluded, quiet and scenic. There are lots of hiking trails nearby. The restrooms are clean and spacious. The campground hosts are excellent.

As a former truck driver for Mr. England; this Florida boy then seen most of America. It was during the summer of 2001 when I traveled that highway which runs along the Rouge River in southern Oregon. It is one of the best, peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, and breath taking places I will never forget. The woods had little or no shrubbery; the trees were magnificent; and the roar of the river; amazing. If I ever get a chance to visit that area again. I will; but for now; I'm putting it on m bucket list.
