Pretty awesome laundromat, one of the cleanest laundromats I’ve been to! Very nice staff, calm environment. you can purchase laundry products/change bills for coins at the front desk. Clean bathrooms, drink machine, and plenty of magazines to pass the time while you wait on your loads. Plenty of washers/dryers prices vary. Dryers do take a bit to dry clothes thoroughly around 2-3 dollars
High prices, overtly racist staff, and staff’s dogs running amok inside which is ironic considering the several reviews about not allowing kids. Otherwise clean and available units that got the job done. Just a rather uncomfortable experience in the process. Edit: The owner responded below that the 3 untrained dogs that puked, barked, jumped on me, and ran all over the 90 minutes I was there were “therapy dogs” of a customer, but this customer was going around collecting quarters from the machines into a bucket. The owner did not respond to the racist conversation she held in the front entrance about whether she prefers “Asian” or “American” pedicurists. Ya know, because she doesn’t understand what the heck they are saying. But it’s clean so I guess it’s ok. I’m offended. It was super awkward as a customer. Don’t hold your racist conversations at your place of business. Don’t allow dogs who are obviously untrained to run amok in your business. Or, since you seem to be a fan of signs, post some more warning potential customers of the racist conversations and untrained dogs.
Normally a good place to wash clothes, but kind of expensive. Won't go back after treatment by last attendant working there. I won't be harassed by anyone. Aside from her, all of the other attendants were super nice, which is why I gave the 2 star. Approximately $15 per load wash and dry
Traveling in an RV doesn’t allow us to wash our large comforters at home so we look for a nice coin operated laundry wherever we go. Here in fargo we found this nice location. The woman running it was very attentive, nice and knowledgeable. She helped us with getting change, what settings we should use and was very friendly. Im sure in this line of work you get a whole assortment of different customers. Some can be nice and others real jerks. I can see how some might think she was rude but looking at the whole situation I can see that you have to be nice but stern with some folks who have no regard for others. Leave ur clothes unattended and she will let you know. All in all we do recommend this place.
Not disability friendly. The owner claims that they only have a certain number of coins per week. acts as if people are stealing if they get quarters and don't use them all in her store... And requires you to come up to the counter to ask her for change. So you have to leave your clothes in the washer. With soap etc. Then walk all the way to the counter to give her the cash, then walk all the way back to your machine.. but if you leave the machines unattended... There are signs that say they charge you a $20 fine. Edit: the fact that the owner points out that there are Banks all over the city but still claims that she can only get so many coins... I think she misses the irony. What's worse is that she charges more for one load of laundry in the washer7.50 than it costs to wash 4 loads at the vend-a wash approximately 3 blocks away2.00 per wash. The washer in question is not 4 times the size of theirs. and if you have a car, the laundromat in Moorhead only costs 1.50 per wash.
I'm in north dakota bow hunting and had to wash clothes. I'm very thankful I chose this laundry facility!! Fargo's finest coin laundry was very clean and great customer service!!
I would have given this laundromat less than one star if I could. We travel all over the USA for work and as such we visit laundromats all over the nation. We ignored the negative reviews when we should have heeded them instead. Never, ever have we experienced ruder service than at this laundromat. From the attendant to the owner at least we think it was the owner the attitudes presented were rude, rude, rude! We were told by the attendant that we could not put a couple of small mats in the smaller washers, and were told that a sign was posted saying so. Let me say that there are signs all over the place. If I had to stop to read all the signs that they have posted, I venture to sat that we would have spent an additional unwanted hour there. When we wanted to add in additional extraction spin on the larger machine we were instructed to insert an additional $.50 - which we did, however the machine did not register the second quarter that was inserted, nor did it return the quarter to us. When we told the attendant she didn’t believe us and told us that it was not possible, which basically implied that we were lying. While waiting for our washers, my husband was standing at the doorway to the back room which the attendant left open and was looking in - just killing time. The owner came up to him and rudely said to him you cannot go in there! When he replied that he didn’t go in, and that he was just looking. She again rudely told him that he could not even look in there. When he spoke with the owner a little later, he informed her that this indeed was the rudest laundromat we’ve ever been to. Her reaction was rather apathetic, evidently, she didn’t care that she was treating a customer disrespectfully. She also implied that we were lying about the machine taking our quarter, and stood there shaking her head the entire time we were talking to her about it. Her response was it’s impossible for the machine to do this. Yet, the machine did take the additional quarter. The loss of the quarter was not a big deal to us, but the implication from the owner & attendant that we were lying was huge! The equipment seemed to be in good repair, however the smaller washers represent a safety risk, each of them have a sign on them yet another sign stating that the machines don’t lock so you need to watch your children. SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF, DON’T GO THERE!!!!! We never will again. If this is Fargo’s finest laundromat, I would hate to see the rest of them.
Despite a few bad reviews I headed to Fargo's Finest today. The place was immaculate. Floors, machines & dryers were all clean and fully operational. Betty was the associate on duty and I can't thank her enough for patiently answering my naive questions. I can't reccomend this place enough! I'll definitely be a return customer.
We are traveling and this was such a great find! Friendly and clean. Highly recommend. And, thankful for the recommendation of Beans for coffee.
Nice cozy place to clean clothes! Helpful workers, will launder here again!
