This is an amazing costume shop! Not only is it like the best dress-up closet for adults and kids ever, Gina and her staff are so attentive and imaginative and creative. We rented theater-quality costumes for a Halloween party on Friday night and won first prize! We had so much fun that we returned them and rented something entirely different for Saturday night. We came in with vague ideas, and Gina and her staff put together outfits, complete with accessories, that were spot-on! The outfit possibilities are nearly endless, and the customer service is outstanding. It was an excellent find.
2 great experiences in August 2017 and Halloween 2017. I had a very specific costume request and Gina and the girls not only found a jacket and hat but took the time to add multiple accessories that made the costume an almost perfect replica of what I needed. The price for a 5 day rental around Halloween was only about $20 more than I would have paid to buy some cheap costume that I'd never wear again from a Halloween store, and I got a gazillion compliments on how great my costume looked. They get really busy during times like Halloween, so try to go during business hours or lunch. But overall a GREAT experience and will definitely be back for future party needs.
Massive selection. Came in for the most random thing elf shoes in the middle of summer and the owner was able to pull it out of the back in 10 seconds flat. Didn't have the other extremely specific thing I was looking for but had several lookalike morph suits including rare pop culture ones. Owner was extremely pleasant and there is literally so much merchandise to choose from. I have no doubts if I stayed and looked I would've been able to put together my costume from her selection but I was in a hurry. Pleasant experience all around and affordable too!
We do a lot of costume parties and Farina’s always has people complimenting us! Super friendly super awesome!
The high rating is why I went to Farina's first and they lived up to the rating. I called to inquire about a police officer uniform for a music video and they started gathering items for me before I even arrived. They had the perfect setup for what I needed. Their customer service is excellent and they have so many great costumes. I'll definitely be coming back for future costume needs.
The costumes are cool but they help you get an outfit and then kind of blind side you with the price at the end.... which is most likely very high. I could have bought the costumes off of amazon or something at that price but I had already spent all that time figuring the costume out so I just did it. I thought renting would be the cheaper route but I was wrong. I did have a good time in the costume though.
Just the best costume shop ever. She has so much amazing stuff! Kids, adults... I love the different Era stuff. She knows what she's doing and she can costume anyone! Even if you're not sure what you want, she can do amazing things. You will not regret going to see Gina at Farinas!
The shop owner was mean and condescending. We came to the shop to find some last minute costumes, well within business hours as posted, and she acted as if we were putting her off. She was upset about the state of her business, and told us that she was unwilling to part with her costumes and was unwilling to make any deals. Wouldn't you think that if the store is going out of business that she'd want to generate revenue for herself? Very rude. Not hard to see why the store is financially in the state it is.
Really cool store. Tons of costumes and individual pieces to choose from. From HD leather jackets to old wedding dresses. They have a disco section which is pretty rad too. The only thing I was disappointed in was everything is for rent. You cannot buy any thing. But what a cool place.
We just showed up looking for last minute cosplay and found a fantastic experience and the lady was Friendly understanding and patient with us and threw together a female link cosplay from legend of Zelda and it looked AMAZING!!! I’m going there again with out a doubt! Also she hooked me up with some boots for my cosplay as well
