Bill and the team at Farland provided me with a truly first class experience. Buying classic cars can be nerve wracking and much more complicated than buying a new car. The guys at Farland seem to appreciate that fact and will provide you with all the information you could possibly need to get comfortable with your purchase. OK, My name is David Croft, Last Friday night I was just reaching for a classic BMW 2002 Tii and Farland Classic Restoration popped up. So I took a chance and dropped them more an a few emails and phone messages about the the 1972 BMW 2002 Tii. Hoping that it was not spoken for and sold. I was so happy to have gotten a call back from Bill the general manager of sales the next afternoon. Now, that I have set the stage for anyone looking for a company to Restore a classic car or like myself looking to add to my small collection. You should stop looking anywhere else. Starting with Bill the sales manager you have a support staff of Tom and Pat. They are technical support and social media folks along with being experts in the classic car field. This where Farland stands tall in comparison to any other folks I have met. Their willingness to listen and let the customer feel at ease when they are hoping to find their own little treasure. They gave me and added so much more knowledge to lead me to a good decision. Not necessarily buying from them just wanting to support you the client. When I walked in there was so much positive energy you can't hardly get started with looking though the showroom. These folks were in a few words "OUTSTANDING", "PATIENT", and a great sense of "HUMOR". Update 2/2/2021. I acquired a dream car for me last year, a Factory '87 M491 Turbo Look 911 Cab. The car was in great shape wearing original paint and presented itself very well. That said, the original paintwork had lots of scratches and blemishes that were bothersome to my eye in certain lighting. I visited with Jack Farland and he described how he could dry sand and polish the paintwork to bring it back to its original luster. I have to say that the thought of sanding original paintwork frightened me to death !!! However, having had some successful 'minor' paint correction work performed previously I felt comfortable with the proposition. We also talked about the protective benefits of ceramic coating the paintwork after, which was performed too. Jack had the car about a week and I am absolutely flabbergasted with the results; the paintwork looks incredible; so much better than I anticipated. Another great experience at Farland Classic Restoration. I have had two of my personal cars worked on by Farland Classic Restoration; namely an M Coupe and a 911 C4S. Both cars required some paint correction and paintwork detailing. I received clear and courteous communication; The work performed was phenomenal ! In truth, they were able to fix imperfections and scratches that I thought were too deep and beyond help. Truly surprised, the results speak for themselves. Have watched their website for years - so many amazing restorations, and so many great classic cars for sale. Bought a classic I coveted from Farland recently, and had the team help sell a car for me. Both transactions were painless and smooth. Tom and Bill were great. Jack Farland walked me around and let me look at all of the beautiful cars in the shop. Wow! Their consignment process is straightforward and very fair. Great local business.
