Fayette Historic State Park

I have been coming here for years! Its awesome! The campground is really nice, there is a lot to do, and it can all be done in a day if you choose so. There are a few miles of hiking trails, a decent stretch of beach and a nice visitors center with a snack bar. I proposed to my girlfriend on the dolomite cliffs overlooking the town and bay. The Garden Peninsula is beautiful!

A beautiful state park that I enjoy no matter how many times I go. The only part that I dislike is the boat dock. For me it ruins the feel of the park. All of the historic buildings and artifacts next to a boat dock with large modern boats. I liked it better when the dock wasn't there however I still enjoy the park.

I LOVE this place! So much cool history, and you CAN'T beat that view! It's a must visit!

Very interesting state park. With all the old building to go into ,you feel like you went back in time. I recommend this place to everyone that likes seeing things from the past.
