Spicy Chicken Penne tastes okay chicken is pretty soft and easy to chew, bread sticks have strong butter flavor. However, in the end my friend found chicken in his salad is not cooked all the way. 50% of whole chicken bite is pink. This made us worried those “easy to chew” chicken wasn’t being cooked neither. Other than this, a salad we ordered does not have onions, almonds Didn’t know until I went up to counter to report raw chicken issue
Allow me to start by saying Zach is a finely tuned cog in a well oiled machine. The breadsticks were sublime; a beautiful marriage of garlic and butter. The Chicken Parm Pasta Duo was a deal that was too good to pass up, and did not disappoint. We received prompt service and fresh food, a commendable feat in the pasta game. I would venture to say our Fazoli’s experience was transcendent, one that would truly make Eugene proud. We look forward to dining in on our next journey through Ames. Also PS, the soundtrack created an unmatched dining atmosphere. Photos by @chelseadufresne on Instagram, please follow her pasta ventures if you are so inclined.
I ordered loaded fettuccine and a small pop. Their pop machine was broken with no carbonation. The grilled chicken tasted like bad chicken jerky. Bread sticks was crunchy, not soft like it used to be. The Alfredo sauce was runny, and little flavor. Before I left, I asked for a refund for the soda I didn't get to drink. The manager that was there on Tuesday night September 21st gave me cash for$1.50. I didn't look up the actual cost for their show pop until I was half way back to my city an hour and a half away that it cost $2.29. I know that's a small amount, but it was the service from a manager, and her don't want to deal with it attitude I'm putting on here. She was not apologetic towards the situation, made it feel like it was my fault for pointing it out that the sofa didn't have carbonation. I didn't take my receipt, I just never needed to take my receipt before.
Poor experience. Can't even rate it a 1. They struggled with our order. We had 2 meals and a kids meal. We waited 15 min to get our food and it was cold. The family that was right ahead of us waited almost an hour to get their food and then it wasn't right. The manager walked out. Poor management. I watched about 15-20 cars pull out of line in the drive thru. Will not return to this location.
My son a I went there today. I am giving it 2 stars because the last who was behind the counter was really sweet. And we got our food in like a minute but the food was bland and seemed old. I wasn't a fan. I make better pasta at home. My son didn't even eat his, I took a few bites if mine but just couldn't we left.
best dining experience of my life. endless breadsticks are really endless!! the service was wonderful and the prices are amazing for such quality food. Madison is the best waitress I've ever had, she was so helpful. I would go to Fazoli's every day of my life, and I probably really could because it's so inexpensive!! this place is such an amazing blessing, I haven't been this happy in so long.
The food was GREAT & FRESH! The crew was friendly for a busy Wednesday night, Much appreciated! The chicken Alfredo is the best around. Good spaghettis and lasagna also, just watch out for tomatoes of course! Even the kids love IT!!
Honestly I only leave bad reviews when it is earned so here goes. We waited 25 mins for our food. The food was fine. But the restaurant was a mess. The dishes were covering the entire top of the garbage can. People had to clear their own tables and then started piling the dirty dishes on other tables. They ran out of real silverware and the employees started handing out plastic silverware. There seemed to only be 2 employees working and they were doing their best. They need to hire more employees
I was impressed with my service. Today we had an awesome young lady serve us in the drive thru. We had to wait because it was very busy. She made the decision to provide us drinks and a few breadsticks our family really enjoy. We don't know her name - but she is definitely a keeper. Great job today!!!
Terrible service! Tried to go to this restaurant at 9:40 pm but they said they were closed. I asked what time they closed and the “manager” said 10pm but that they were slow, so decided to close early. There were five or six people standing in the kitchen with no masks on doing nothing. Who ever is the gm should reevaluate who they hire and how many people are working each shift. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue. It’s very sad/pathetic that this location in Ames can never hire and keep good employees and it shows in the service. This location should honestly close. The food is great but if it is made and served by any of this staff it’ll be terrible.
