Kelton is a very nice individual and very professional in his approach to his work. However, the result of the work, which cost us $650.00, was not satisfactory. We had Fibrenew come out to make some repairs wear and stitching on a high-end La-Z-Boy leather recliner. That repair looked good initially but about 4 months later the repaired areas started cracking. We had them come back out in September and they redid the chair $150.00 and as you can see from the pictures this is the result of that "repair" after 3 months. The chair is essentially ruined. Very, very disappointed as this was my favorite chair.
Kelton did a phenomenal job. He took our leather couches and transformed them. If you have some leather restoration that needs to be done I highly recommend Kelton and his company Fibrenew. You will not be disappointed with his craftsmanship and artistry.
When I find a quality service and service provider that I can trust, I get enthused to share my discovery with others. Fibrenew in Colorado Springs is one of my best discoveries! If you have holes in leather furniture or another item you want to fix, I highly recommend Fibrenew in Colorado Springs owned and run by Kelton! It took me about two years after I discovered small holes in my leather loveseat before I sought out help to fix them. Thankfully, I didn’t try any Do It Yourself fixes because I could have ruined my relatively new loveseat. The furniture store where I purchased my loveseat referred me to Fibrenew. When I called, Kelton came to my home a couple days later to patch the holes. Watching him work on the project was fascinating. The equipment he used was extensive. I was especially impressed with the great care Kelton used in matching the color of the patches to the rest of the leather. On top of all of that, Kelton was a great conversationalist and was willing to answer my questions about the project as he worked. Please note, I have voluntarily written this review and have received no compensation for it.
I cannot recommend Fibrenew or Kelton unfortunately. I brought him a cracked dashboard from my 1990 Volvo. He said that the dremel/body fill/sanding prep work I had done would save him a lot of time in the process and his words were that he would make it look "like new as if it came from Volvo". When I got it back from him you could see where the repairs were made, but it still looked much better than before. however, it only lasted a week or two before the cracks reappeared. He was willing to fix this by having me bring the car back to him, but he also said I had to help with the labor with him because the flaws were apparently my fault due to my prep work? Before my work was a time-saver, but now it is the reason for his low quality work? He also lied and said he had warned me of non-perfect results which is untrue. He'd said "like new" not "better for a couple weeks, maybe". The second attempt worked for another few weeks before the cracks once again reappeared. I'm now out $515 and a bunch of my time with the dash the same as I bought it. Maybe he's better with upholstery but I would not pay anyone a dime for the results I'm looking at now. Getting my money back would be ideal but Kelton made it very clear to me that was not an option. Im a self proprietor myself in a different line of work and would never run a business this way.
Kelton did an amazing repair on our leatherette car seat. He was efficient, professional and knowledgeable. If we ever have any other issues with any leather or vinyl repair, we will certainly give him our business.
Kelton Fuller at Fibrenew/CO Springs did a fantastic job with our leather sofa and love seat. The sofa footstool had a hole in it -- now you simply cannot tell where it was. Both pieces are 20+ years old but after Kelton cleaned, conditioned, and repaired them, they look just like they did when we first bought them. Very efficient, capable, and I would recommend him to anyone without reserve! Thank you, Kelton!
My husband and I purchased a set of dark brown leather furniture which was quite pricey at Lazy Boy. After a short time the leather began to turn orange on the edges. We realized the leather had not been properly or professionally treated. We were disappointed with our purchase at Lazy Boy and regretted the brown leather choice. We made an appointment with Fibrenew and the gentleman made a correction to the leather which to this day is perfect. I so recommend Fibrenew, that was 2 years ago. I thank them for their help, great company.
Far exceeded expectations. Kelton is a true professional & provides detailed information about the restoration process. Very quick response time & flexible. Our leather sectional looks brand new and service was very quick. 10/10 would recommend for your leather needs.
Kelton Fuller arrived yesterday and fixed the leather driver car seat on my 2002 Trans Am. Wonderful experience. Kelton is a great family guy, friendly, courteous, a superb professional with tons of experience and know-how. He tells you the truth and uses creative ways to fix deep problems. I checked out his website and was surprised to see the extent of what he does. Now I will be back with him on many of my needs. Go Kelton!!
Kelton did a fantastic job on repair and difficult color match of my loveseat. Couldn't have asked for better results. Highly recommend.
