Fiji Airways sold me a ticket from Vanuatu to the USA with a 2-hour layover in Nadi. Great. A few days later the flight from Vila to Nadi was canceled and they put me on a much earlier flight. Now the layover was 11 hours instead. Well, nothing we can do about it, you'd think. On the day I flew, it turns out my original flight was back online but they failed to inform me they could have put me on it. So I was stuck with a much longer and much less convenient journey because of their poor organization. I travel a lot to the Pacific for work and sometimes you can't avoid Fiji airways. But I will try to avoid them whenever I can. Very poor customer service.
