One weekend, a few weeks ago, someone decided to smash the ground lights in Centennial Hills Park, right behind Station 41.
One of the firefighters from Station 41 took the time to sweep up, and remove the glass, then put caution tape around the area. This park is very busy on the weekends, and someone was bound to get hurt.
I just want to say, "Thank you."

My 1st experience was when I was shot during a home invasion, literally across the street from the station around midnight. My son and I were walking to the station. I finally got a hold of the operator and she alerted them that I was outside. I remember sitting on the gurney and asked if they were going to cut my shirt off so I just took it off. The rest my recollection of the whole thing is bits and pieces. But I do remember talking with them. Then another time I was spraying pesticide at the neighbors house when I was subject of heat exhaustion. I guess I passed out landing face first in the rocks. Again right across the street from fire department. They showed up very quickly and assessed the problem my o/2 saturation level was at 53% so they quickly started me on oxygen.. They took very good care of me. I have always wanted to thank them for saving my life. Everyone there was a savior for me and I was
