I had significant challenges in getting my gas insert fireplace installed. I ordered it on Dec 4 and didn’t get installation until Jan 25 and not without multiple calls and almost canceling my order. Throughout the process, however, my salesman, Derek, was patient and understanding. He did his best to satisfy me. The installation team of Jon an Andrew were excellent...install went in without a hitch.
Although the Brighton store was a new location, I was able to see and choose an insert and select an alternative when my fireplace space wouldn’t accommodate my original choice.
All told, after 1 month of use, I am very satisfied with my purchase and happy with the results.
I’ll post an update in the future should my views change but in the mean time I recommmend this company and their product.

FireSide Hearth& Home Jon and Andrew did a great job with the installation of our new Direct Vent Heat N Glo Escape I30-F unit. Aaron was great on selling us this unit. He explained all the features of the different units, which assisted us in our decision to choose the unit that we did. Thank you very much for a job well done. Sharon

I Bought a Heat N Glo gas insert here at Fireside and it has been absolutely amazing! I Worked with a nice young man named Aaron, he was delightful to work with! The installation process was super simple and the staff here at Fireside took care of every little detail from start to finish! Great Job keep up the good work!

Went in to the store to get information on converting our wood burning fireplace to gas. The salesman seemed lazy and and not interested in helping us. He didn't seem to care if he sold us anything or not. Showed us a few models, said there were only 2 doors to choose from and then handed us a pen to write down the estimates. I wouldn't have them do anything with our fireplace if they gave us the logs and parts for free. What ever happened to customer service? Didn't want to give any stars but had to in order to be able to post this review.

The servicing is a nightmare. I have two gas fire places. One works well, one needs to be serviced every year and it takes about 10 phone calls or email messages for them to respond. They eventually come out (sometimes after winter is over), take a lot of money, don't get it fixed and it just needs another 10 phone messages to start the cycle again. If you like this game, go with them.
