Long story short. They tried to up rip me off badly. I had my breaks and tire changed somewhere else but that place said they couldn’t do an alignment because my control arm was bent. So I came here to Firestone to see if it’s true that my control arm was bent. Not only did they confirm that my control arm was bent but they added so many other things that are wrong with my car that I need to fix and tried to charge me $3000.00. They spread some kind of clay on my breaks stating that it’s very dangerous and I need to change them now. I literally just changed them. It was also raining so they thought I wouldn’t check. I paid my $10 check fee, asked for my car back and left quickly. Be careful, I don’t recommend coming here at all! Update ** it’s been a few months and my breaks are perfectly fine, everything they tried to rip me off of, is perfectly fine.
I’ve used this location for an oil change twice because it’s close to my office. Scheduled appointments on both occasions. First time I waited and it took 2 hours when told 1 hr tops. Second time is today and I was just informed it wouldn’t be ready until 5:00 pm. I dropped my truck off at 12:50 pm for a scheduled 1:00 pm appointment. Customer service was no bad, the gentleman was polite and tried explaining. The issue is that the company schedules appointments and it means nothing as a customer.Service: Oil change
I got an appointment for a Thursday at 8AM on a Wednesday and the guys at the store, Bill and Sergio, were helpful throughout the process and tried to help save me money at every turn. They had my car ready earlier than expected and they did not try and sell me every service that they could have, that my car did not need. Not to mention they did a great job servicing my vehicle. I live nearby and will be coming here for all car related issues in the future when I am in CT for the remainder of the year. Thanks guys!Services: Battery
Please get a 2nd opinion if you should choose to go this Auto Shop, I am not sure if they are adding additional charges to the parts. Also the customer service sucked, I was lied to on the phone about my car. How could you trust a business that lies to your face inorder to get more money out of you. Customer beware and do your due diligence
I had a blowout on my trailer while passing through Bridgeport. I have been going to fire stone in Connecticut for years so I looked up the closest one. I called the store, Brandon answered, and said that he did not have a trailer tire my size in stock, but to come by and he would get me back on the road. Though they did not have the tire I needed on hand, with a full garage, and two technicians out with Covid, Brandon grabbed a floor jack, and an impact wrench and help me change to my spare In the parking lot. He then refused to take the tip I offered him wishing me a merry Christmas. So in short, I did not spend a dime at their store, but Branden got me back on the road for nothing more than a fist bump.
I took my car for an oil change and an emission test, 2 and a half hour wait, despite me coming in at 7.00.am. The manager brings my car back damaged, i told him, this happen here, he denied it. I called him up and ask if there were cameras he told me no cameras in the shop. Awful service, will never go to any Firestone again. I also told the company that i work for that has a fleet, not to do business there anymore. I am also reporting them to the better business bureau
Waste of time. 2+ hours for an oil change when I have an appointment. The people here could care less. If you have something seriously wrong with your car, do not bring here if you care about your car or time.
The customer service in this place is outstanding very polite respectful and fast nothing more to ask for great place to go
Brought in my rental guy wanted me to wait for approval took 4 hours thank God I went and took care of things after waiting for over an hour then got the call your good to go it's been over an hour and I'm still waiting for them to get the car in the garage if you want to waiste your day to change tire this is the place for youService: Tires
Drove my truck to Firestone Complete Autocare in Bridgeport, CT 300 John St, Bridgeport, CT 06604 after I had an issue with the front right brakes and didn't want to drive too far. After leaving it with the shop for 48 hours was called by Julio Service Manager and told all 4 calipers were "seized" - no idea how i managed to drive it there if all 4 calipers were seized.. LIES, Not the case there was metal on metal from the front right ONLY - pads and rotors would have sufficed. Some background one caliper was new inside the last 6 months still under guarantee with the core currently on my work bench at home. They advised I needed x4 calipers, x4 rotors, and all new pads and fluids all around to the tune of over $2k. When I show up to pick the vehicle up and asked for the old calipers to be returned, with me happy to pay the additional core cost there and given one was under still warranty I was told NO and that they had conveniently been sent out and were no longer on site?! Nothing they could do... LIED TO MY FACE. If I had been given the old calipers I'm sure me compressing the piston would have proved in-fact they were not at all seized and replacing all 4 was completely unnecessarily. Completely untrustworthy, I WOULDN'T GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS - BUYER BEWARE!Services: Brake service & repair
