No customer service skills nor any respect for people in general let alone someone’s time. I recommended them to my daughter because of a $50.00 coupon for brake repair she could use to save money. We took our vehicles at the same time & sat together waiting for our cars to be serviced. They were dancing in the shop rather than looking at our vehicles. They lied about repairs needed for my vehicle consistently walking back & forth, in & out from the shop. I needed rear brakes & was quoted $240.00 for rear brakes from Harold over the phone. In person the quote was $711.00 because I have drum brakes & needed rotors, as far as needing rotors we know that’s not true. After I declined that service because that’s an insane cost I’d already made peace with spending $200.00 I was told the rear brakes & rotors are fine & the problem was the front brakes & rotors & quoted $523.00, which I also declined because clearly lying is the trend. My daughter needed rear brakes & was quoted $308.00 & told it couldn’t be completed until the next day because it would take 1.8 hours initially, which quickly changed to no we can get it done now. I said I was quoted $240.00 & we have a $50.00 off per axle coupon, to which we were told we can’t find that anywhere. They asked who I spoke to, I said Harold & they advised well he’s gone. After two & a half hours sitting there we left with nothing done except an oil change on my vehicle, that they attempted to charge me over $50.00 for, but I had a coupon pulled up on my phone, sorry not sorry guys. This has been an establishment that was passed down for me to go to from my Dad as it used to be the only place he’d take his vehicle to. He was lied to & quit going & I hadn’t had that experience myself, until now. I’m sad to see it’s become yet another auto shop that disgusts me. At this point I do not recommend going to Firestone to anyone, ever.
Had my tires replaced, lifetime alignment, brakes done. Staff were knowledgeable of parts and prices, they also gave me realistic time frames for work to be completed. Prices were good for what I had done.
I didn’t know what was wrong with my car and didn’t know who to ask. So I took it to Firestone and they diagnosed it, then Sam explained what it needed. If I didn’t understand he patiently explained it until I did. He told me what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. He didn’t condescend or treat me like a “stupid woman”. I appreciated his knowledge and the respect he showed me.
Was able to get in quickly. I just dropped my car off in the morning before work and picked it up after work. Sam told me about my front tires and a deal taking place at beginning of March. So I will be back to get two new front tires. Thank you Firestone.
No warm fuzzies here with service. I went three years ago with a Honda in which they were unhelpful and dismissive. Went again this year with a new car just to get air in my tires, again dismissive and left me sitting in my car in front of a bay for a very long time. No one even addressed me. I just drove away. Went up the street and was serviced within 10 minutes. Wont be going back.
The original problem was misdiagnosed costing extra money and time. Since they needed the car for another day my wife had to cancel her travel plans. The bright spot was Harold did everything in his power to accommodate and try to resolve the issue. Harold is the reason it's a 4 star and not 3.
Super friendly and answered my questions. When I walked in to pick up my car the attendant didn't even ask my name, he remembered me from the last time I was there, which was about a month ago, and had all my paperwork and was ready to go
Admittedly, already having a very challenging morning, I did snap a little and quipped to the tech on the phone that this wouldn't even been necessary if the job had been done right the first time. We arrived approximately 45 minutes late, 1045 am. And I could already tell by the techs attitude while checking.us in that we probably would be inconvenienced once again.. sure enough at 415 pm while out running errands i drove to the shop to discover my vehicle was right where I left it,untouched. Realizing at this point that yes indeed, I was being " punished" for my earlier statement. I went inside to get my key and tell them I will be taking the vehicle home for the evening and asked if we should make an appointment for the following day. I was told to just bring it back as early as possible the following day. We got the vehicle dropped off shortly after 7 am and w Once seen for diagnosis it was discovered that the 2 tires placed back on the front end of vehicle were separating and cracked. I have no problem replacing dangerous tires, but I was not given that opportunity because Firestone NEGLECTED to properly inspect the tires when they 1st had the vehicle. I've been a customer at.this location for 20+ years and have NEVER had my vehicle returned in such an unsatisfactory and potentially dangerous condition. When I asked Sam the manager to see the 2 tires that had to be replaced, he was quick to fetch them while explaining that the SEPARATION would not be seen because they were no longer on the rims or inflated. Another tech standing nearby quickly injected " actually, you can see the cracking right there " as he pointed to the tires. My response was " hmmm, sure can." . Wondering how these obviously SEVERELY worn tires had been placed back on my vehicle Sams response was " well those tires ARE 9 years old! Perhaps an " I am sorry we disappointed you this visit, we should have been more careful. Instead, Sams response of " well those tires are 9 years old" was defensive, arrogant and condesending considering the tires were actually 7 years 9 months old. Regardless, all the more reason to inspect them especially careful sir? After all the tires were bought at your store and as you so kindly pointed out, the production date 47/15 Placed on my vehicle 3rd week of April 2016 is actually stamped on the tire, plain as day and easily checked by a " professional?" This is our backup vehicle and isn't driven much and I understand why a 50,000 mile tire would only last 25,000 miles in this case, we all know the integrity of rubber deteriorates with time not strictly wear and tear. Surely you would not have put those tires back on your own vehicle endangering the safety of your loved ones and everyone else you may encounter on the roads. Your customers trust you with their lives when it comes to the easiest repair...TIRES
Great experience here! Sam is awesome. Made my car like new. Will use this place again.
JEROME AT E HARRY is a HORRIBLE MECHANIC. How can you work at an automotive shop and not know how to drive a car? On my paper he is the one who drove my car. My car seats lower to the ground which I told the managers that before leaving. That being said, I arrive to find my cars front tires touching the concrete barrier, and my front bumper ON it. Like they didn’t hear it on thought it was some suv or truck. Going through claims with Firestone is an absolute joke, will be contacting a lawyer.Service: Battery
