Friendly and helpful. Will be back again. Went back. Even better than before. Range masters are friendly, and the counter staff are extremely nice. And don't be scared of the older range master (Jim, I think) based on a previous review, he's really nice when you finally break the ice. He's just very businesslike/professional and some people (especially in the great state of Minnesota Nice) may see it as rudeness. Gruffness =/= rude. **My only problem is y'all need a new shipment of ammo, I don't want to go to cabellas for my Sig home defense ammo :/ ** **Update: has the ammo, it's now perfect. Also had some pretty nice deals on bulk .45 now.

My son and I completed a concealed carry course instructed by John Armstrong today from The Firing Line. John had a short and to-the-point scenario with every subject of the course. And was always ready to answer the students questions. It was everything I expected a well thought out curriculum should be. Good job to John Armstrong owners John and Deborah and all the staff My Two children and myself thank you.

First time here, and found the staff to be friendly, and the range to be well run. My only issue was that after finishing shooting I was not allowed to retrieve my brass as it was “over the line”. As a hand loader this is money directly out of my pocket and into theirs. I fully understand this policy when there are other people at the range, but the only people there were my son and I and the range staff. All firearms had been checked clear and cased. The range master told me I should have told him in advance that I wanted my brass so he wouldn’t have been sweeping it ahead of the firing line. Fair enough, but I think we should have been allowed to retrieve the brass since we were not aware of their policy. There were no other shooters, so there was no safety hazard. “Policy” without common sense tends to rub people the wrong way. Will we come back, probably, but I’ll hide the broom ;).

I took the permit to carry class here. My instructor was Jon, he was amazing!! He is very smart, helpful, and funny! Jon did a great job teaching us! I am so glad I was able to have Jon teach the class I took!

The staff and facilities were great. This was my wife 1st time in many years shooting a pistol and Tyler was very good about giving her a few pointers and making her feel at ease. We both enjoyed our time at your range and will be back again.
