We met Pastor Bill while my husband was being treated for cancer at Centegra-McHenry Hospital. We both greatly respect the pastor and from that grew a bond! His perishoners, his wife and he opened their doors at the First Baptist Church without hesitation to perform our wedding, which filled my husband and I with so much joy! I hadn't seen him smile that much in so long, even through all that pain. It brings tears to my eyes just remembering now. Although, my husband lost his battle to this horrible disease, now he is at peace. In the end, we chose to have his service and heal with the same people that showed us so much love! Thank you once again, to all of you who open your heart's and your home to our family, Peter and I!!
Went for a friends funeral and was shocked at how unorganized it seemed to be. And not sure when a service became propaganda but would for sure not go back. Also who does not have memorial cards??
