The service is top rate with great music and a well-crafted liturgy and sermon. I have been attending since at least 2012. But like most public meeting places we have had our challenges from COVID. The good news is that some very smart people made it possible to attend remotely via YouTube, Facebook Live, or Zoom. And if you are do attend in person you are welcome to meet some very nice people in our Fellowship Hall after the service and enjoy coffee, tea, and some interesting conversation.
Very beautiful and full of amazing people. They are very accepting of trans people and open to all walks of life. I was skeptical of going until I finally went for the first time and I was welcomed with open arms. Noone judged me for being a trans female. I love it there!
1890’s building. Beautiful interior with dryer acoustics than you might expect. Doors & elevators fit large percussion instruments and there are ramps throughout.
The First Congregational Church was built between 1889 to 1895. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
They have a great meeting space which is why we were here. ONDA uses this place for a lot of their Portland meetings.
The stainglass windows from the inside looking outward are amazing to see.
Beautiful Building, cant say much more..
Love this place! Always a great and fitting message!
The building is beautiful but the church is lukewarm.
Big, gorgeous and full of friendly people.
