First Pentecostal Church of Palm Bay, Florida

I have been at this church since I was 3 (I am now 36 years old). This church preaches Acts 2:38 salvation. If you are looking for a feel good church that lets you feel like you are ok with God no matter how you are living your life and you only need church on Sundays this church is probably not what you are looking for, but you should still come check it out. If you are looking for a place that preaches the whole word, allows the Holy Spirit to convict you, and encourages you along your walk with God this is your new home church. No matter how many churches I have visited or how lost I have been at times, I know every time I enter First Pentecostal Church I will hear a life changing message and feel the presence of God in a might way. I enjoy the freedom I feel to worship and the encouragement I get from other members.They also have many activities for various groups (youth, nursery, Sunday school, marrieds, singles, recovery, ladies, men, ect). This church really encourages you to get connected and get involved. I also appreciate being a part of a church that is focused on not just the local community, but the whole US, and even the whole world. I truly feel like that is one of the reasons why the church has been so blessed. No church is ever going to be perfect, but we all learn and grow together.

I was scolded by Pastor David Myers (A Joel Olsteen wannabee/ profiteer) for taking a pic during an Easter show. The crook grabbed my shoulders and told me how he didn't appreciate me taking pics (In other words, cutting in on his profit as he was selling CDs of the show), and walked on the stage and started to preach as if he did not just grab shoulders. As a first time visitor, I was extremely upset and went to try to speak with him, only to be approached by his armed goons. He refused to speak with me and told one of his goons to tell me to make an appointment. I also watched them kick out a homeless guy, as if Jesus didn't welcome everyone. As if Jesus didn't spend his time with the poor, thieves, alcoholics, ect. The profiteering churches and their fake, greedy pastors, like Myers, need to be taxed like any other business. The church is relatively large and his goons are everywhere. I certainly did not feel welcomed. Go to a small, more personable church.

Love this church! Passionate people that love God and people. It is a great church for my whole family; the nursery, children ministry, worship and sermons are top notch and life changing!

This church has changed my life. If you're looking for change and a relationship with God, come to this church. Pastor Myers is genuine and preaches the truth. He believes wholeheartedly in missions and helping people in need. If you're in Brevard, you need to visit and make this church your home church.
