I was in Round Rock on business when I noticed this church. I stopped because I thought the church layout was interesting, and I had some time to burn before my next appointment. I parked, and wanted to get a look at the sanctuary. I was asked by the groundskeeper what I was doing there. I told him. I didn't have anything to hide. He told me that if I liked the courtyard, there was a big tree around the corner that I might like. He was correct. The place was well thought out, and really liked just wandering around the place looking at all of it's unique features. It was at this point that someone in the preschool lied about talking to me saying that I avoided a conversation with them. I was then asked to leave for no apparent reason whatsoever. If you are curious about this church, make sure you get a visitor's pass, or you will be kicked off the church campus like some common thug. I've never been treated so poorly without cause.

I have attended church here since 1996. Raised my children here. Worship and fellowship are wonderful. I love the outreach this church gives to the community both near and far. I find myself doing things at church a couple days a week but I love coming to church on Sunday... it not only ends my weekend but at the same time starts my week off great.
I'll save you a seat if you want to worship with me! See ya Sunday!

This is a big church with a small church feel. We attend the 8:30 Sunday Service. It is just the right mixture of traditional and new worship style. You will be met at the front door with a smile and a hello. There is always a sharing of greeting and welcomes during the service. The church offers many small group opportunities that include everything from Bible study, youth and children's activities, mission work, dinner groups, men's and women's groups, crafting and quilting groups and a bridge group to allow members to meet and socialize as they grow in the faith. I would invite anyone to visit and get involved in a service or group designed just for you.

We have been members of First Church Round Rock for over 15 years. From the beginning we felt very welcome. As big as this church is, there is still a feeling of closeness. My kids went through the elementary, middle and high school Sunday School programs, and they were wonderful. Their Youth Department is tops!! My kids have always loved going to youth group and doing mission trips and mission projects. We feel like a part of a very wonderful family at FUMC-Round Rock!
