First Watch

First time visiting this location, but not my first time eating at First Watch. Maybe today was just a bad day, but nonetheless it was a BAD DAY. Food was great, service awful! We ordered the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, the Avacado Toast and the Farmstand Breakfast Tacos. We waited almost 15 minutes for someone to visit our table once we were sat, another 10 minutes to receive water. Waited a long time for refills, and when the food was delivered 1 entree was missing. My boyfriend was almost done with his entrees before my entree arrived. I won't come back to this location anytime soon. Update: March 2024 We decided to return. Had the salmon frittata w/ mixed greens, the biscuit and turkey sausage gravy with scrambled eggs & cheese and potatoes, and of course the Avacado toast with a side of bacon. Service today was GREAT and the food as always was tasty!

Delicious at its finest !! As always good healthy food that doesn't get you the feeling that you gonna blow away . On my date of 2 we had traditional breakfast, BLTE sandwich with potatoes, the carnitas quesadilla w/ black beans on side...and of course . The $1,000,000.00 dollara bacon could not be left out on our menu. Totally amazing breakfast/lunch with the just right portion you need on your plate. Iced caramel coffee has a delicious taste that I couldn't resist to order ne a second one. You know " what's up" when you order a second one heheheh. Highly recommended, you gotta come down here try and find out what will bring you back again.

The food, on the other hand, is consistently delicious every time we visit. What makes this place even more appealing is the ease of access and minimal wait times for seating. It's usually quite convenient to get in and find a table. However, on busier days when the brunch crowd is thicker, it's a good idea to join the waitlist online to ensure a smooth experience. Kid-friendliness: Families will find this place to be exceptionally kid-friendly, with a variety of amenities tailored for children. One of the notable offerings is the availability of a dedicated kids menu, ensuring that young ones have delicious and suitable dining options. Additionally, the overall atmosphere and ambiance of the place are welcoming and accommodating for families, making it a great spot to enjoy quality time together. First time here. Party of 5. Was sat immediately. The host was very nice. Food was good. Fresh juice was delicious. Atmosphere was comforting. Server not so hot. Overall good vibe. Would recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: Had a handicap entrance for my grandmother on a wheelchair which was great.

I wish I could give a "0". But this was my 1st time here, and I didn't expect much but we ordered our food, and they forgot to put eggs on one of our plates. And the sausage was terrible. We call the manager and he called himself replacing the meal, because he said the waitress Ms. Eyou know who you are said that the meal that we ordered didn't come with eggs. Nobody wants to just eat pancakes fool!! Well if you couldn't hear what we ordered, try repeating it so you can get it right. The wait time was super long, and the food still wasn't right. So the manager put the replacement meal in a to-go bag like please hurry up and leave. How do you know they we didn't want to eat the food there? I remind you he gave us the same sausage she said she didn't want in the 1st place. Nobody is listening! The waitress didn't even come back to the table since she 1st took our order. I know you want to believed your staff, but the customer is always right. Hold your staff accountable, and don't make me pay for food that I don't like. What restaurant manager would let the waitress choose whether she comes back to the table??? How about you go home, fix your attitude, and when you can treat my customers with some respect, and common sense than you can wait tables!! This restaurant is over rated and it sucks, and trust me I won't be back. I will not spend my hard earned money for you to talk down to me, or treat me as if I don't matter. Your prices are too high to deal with small portions, and a attitude! All money is the same money!! I am valuable in so many other places. Shame on you.

First Watch is my favorite breakfast spot in Birmingham! I’ve never gotten anything I didn’t love here. I tried the AM Superfoods Bowl for the first time recently and was so impressed. I’ve been craving it ever since I got it! Service is consistently good. Nothing over the top, but the staff is nice and does their job well.Food: 5/5

Evelin was our server, and she was awesome. We had a party of 5, and we were well taken care of. The food and drinks were filling and even had to-go boxes. The atmosphere was family and kid friendly. It is a perfect place for a girls' brunch. I love it Vegetarian options: Vegan options were on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp on the side.

I SO want to like this place. My first three experiences were in Hoover after they bought out the Egg and I. Restaurant was nice, menu looked great, food presentation was great but the actual food itself was just mediocre. A couple of years ago, my new hubby and I tried it again. He felt the same as me. Fast forward several years later. Mom and I were near First Watch in Vestavia so we went. Beautiful restaurant, menu looked great, server was awesome, presentation was excellent. I we so excited, i was texting my husband really believing I would love it. Then I ate it and it was just mediocre. I just really like Another Broken Egg and other high end breakfast places much better. I told my daughter that night when I went home where we went and she seriously said, “I always think I’m going to like it because it looks so good but it’s just mediocre. “. I have no good explanation! But I think I finally give up trying to love First Watch.

This place is consistently good. Iove their lemon ricotta pancakes with lemon curd. Their grits and pancakes are delicious.Food: 4/5
