Fish Bar

One of the very very very last holdouts from the old NYC East Village we all knew and loved. Down to earth yet with a bit of grit, atmospheric, entertainment from time to time that includes poetry, jazz and folk. Drinks are great and still with prices that us artist types can afford.

Cheap drinks and very interesting decor. I personally call this bar the "money ceiling bar". Service from the bartender was fast and mixed drinks were strong. Would definitely come back here for a low key night.

Fish Bar is our favorite date night / special occasion spot. The food is always delicious, but the service and ambiance is what makes this resturant truly special. You must get the Bottariga pasta and the lamb. For wine, try the Terre Brune.

For my latest experience, my friend and I actually arrived 20 mins early but a table was saved for us already : Seated promptly and picked a bottle of wine huge wine list selection by the way. This place seats around 30 people, it's dim and not noisy, pretty suitable for a romantic date.

We had an extraordinary in this place. We enjoyed the awesome ambience and the meals. The staff members were very welcoming. I am happy we ultimately decided to try this restaurant.

A very fun and friendly local bar. Fun decor and zero attitude! The bartenders are friendly and welcoming. It’s everything you’d want from a nice local watering hole!!

I absolutely love this place. The staff is really friendly and the drinks are good. They even let you bring outside food not drinks inside. I just wish they accepted cards but I guess that's part of the charm of this place!

Great little bar tucked away in the East village. It has a fun ocean theme to go along with the name.

A nice divey no-frills bar in the East Village to grab some cheap beer. My only complaint is that they only take cash but there’s an ATM machine inside which makes it less inconvenient.
