The hamburger and the fries are a really good combination. The place is prepare to have fast food so the atmosphere is not so fancy. It's a good option if you want to eat something quick because your order is going to be prepared really fast. Compare to other hamburgs, this is definitely one of the best.Food: 4/5
The service was: horrible, intimidating. The fries were: delightful, fantastic. Do you remember our last five guys fries experience in London? We miss it and so do you.Food: 5/5
Original review, June,2023. For the most part, this Five Guys on 7th Avenue in the Garment District, just a couple of blocks below Penn Station is my go to place for grabbing a quick bit to go before I catch my train out of town. The burgers are tasty and juicy, as well as quite substantial. The fries and peanuts are a nice added touch to my order as well. The service here is quite satisfactory as well. Seating is definitely at a premium, even at 9 in the evening, so I will usually take my order to go, and wolf it down in the station or on my train ride back Writer's edit, March, 2024. Boy has this place really gone downhill in a hurry. Not only have the prices skyrocketed exorbitantly, but the service has, too. They have exhibited to me a pattern of shortchanging. This has happened to me three times in my last four visits. So, while this place thinks they're saving a few shekels here and there, they've now lost a long time patron. What good is a business if trust is lost? Because trust has been lost through dishonesty, a patron that has put hundreds of dollars into it in the past, and would have put in hundreds more in the future is now lost, costing the business not just patronage and future income, but also good will. That's it for you guys, I'm gone. Vegetarian options: This is a burger joint. You can get a veggie sandwich or fries, but that's it Dietary restrictions: Sign posted regarding potential allergens Parking: Being in the Garment District, there isn't much around. You will have to walk a distance to get your car. Kid-friendliness: Nice place to go. Can get a bit noisy at times. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is good, you'll need to have door opened for you. Inside maneuvering is decent, but may be a bit tight on line.
If you’re from another state, this 5 guys will feel like coming home. Exactly like all other 5 guys, even a soda fountain which is hard to come by in NYC! We only got chocolate shakes but they were delicious of course. there is a bathroom but you need a code to use it.Food: 5/5
In the five guys I was, next to a salad restaurant in New York near the PÍER, the food was very bad, with the raw, wilted and black potatoes, the hamburger was withered and with a strange taste, and the milkshake was literally liquid milk. My footing in this establishment was very bad. I don't indicate, honestly horrible the food and the attendants of the place.
Love this place, always so fresh and tasty and you get it exactly your way. The only minus is when you place a large order or multiple burgers the toppings are always off not by much but something. Still fresh and tasty and the burgers are large in size and very flavourful. You can always get a milkshake that pairs so well with a yummy burger and fries.
They obliged me to pay 20% tip for NO SERVICE AT ALL! Didn’t ask, and did it with no reason…if not they wouldn’t give us food or return our payment. Disgusting service, place and the burguers weren’t even goodFood: 1/5
The burger wasn't that great and it didn't have the riches five burgers is known for + i spent over $22 for burger + fried and drink, surly over priced. The last time i have five guys burgers was over ten years ago and eating it now again, I wasn't too impressed. Apart from the price being too high, the the beef wasn't well done and what happened to the option of having just one patty on my burger.
A little pricier than other places"" but the burgers are great. I went here again today"" I ordered the double cheeseburger with lettuce an tomatoes... I once said they was great,,,But the one I had today, had me in heaven!!! I mean total perfection!! I would say it was the best burger I ever had hands down"" the best. So I highly suggest that any an everyone that loves a great burger,,,This is the place to go.
The food was consistently good as always however the service was lacking. I had trouble placing the order as the cashier wasn't at all focused. After I git my receipt I noticed she got the fries wrong so I went to the guy filling the orders and tried to explain it to him; he however didn't speak English so he couldn't correct the issue. Their prices are increasing to the point that it may soon not be worth the food.
