Flame

I have no idea why this place is still around. Everything about this place is dated. I don't mean in the nostalgic way. Ordered Potato Skins, Queen Size Steak, Raspberry Salmon, Chopped Sirloin (off the lite diet menu), and grilled cheese. Potato skins they were not. They were potato peelings piled up drenched in salt, canned cheese sauce and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. My steak was about an 8oz steak (I'm guessing no sizes are listed on the menu), was actually cooked as I ordered it. It had no flavor. The potato was small. This was not a $16 meal. My wife's meal, the salmon, according to her was good. And worth $16. We the server was taking my son's order continued to ask about choices that were not part of his menu selection. The light dinner menu had specific items as sides and he was not familiar with this. The grilled cheese for my daughter was on the darker side. To give the server credit he did tell us that they had burnt our "potato skins" so it was coming but late. So our appetizer came out and a couple minutes later our food came out.

I have been eating there for about 60 yrs. The steaks have the best flavor in town! Great soups. Love the lobster and their chislic is the best in town also.We used to have our business Christmas parties there until we quit having them. Service is awesome. Some of the waitresses have been there for 10-20 yrs..That says a lot about the people who own and run it. If you like liver,onions and bacon, this is the only place to eat it in Aberdeen and way beyond!!!!!! I also love their coconut shrimp. Yes it`s old world but that just adds to the charm of the place..The people that own it and work there are just some of the best and are well respected in town.Yes they have prime rib on weekends. But most restaurants in town only have it on Friday and Saturdays. When you go there say hi Joe the bartender and Rita a wonderful waitress Oh, and they are also owners..

It was ok. Food was good. Our server was nice. Building could use a face lift.

GREAT....GREAT FOOD. Excellent service at the right price. Best steaks in Aberdeen.

Kind of a landmark for Aberdeen. It's a nice place for a change up but not a spot I would call special anymore. Food quality is average, the staff makes the place.
