I attended FIS for my freshman and part of my sophomore year in HS and it was a great experience. I met and made so many friends from all over the country. It's an experience I think our young natives should each have. The education you get is by far the best around I believe because of the small classroom size. That allows more time for the instructor to spend with each student. Another good thing about FIS is they do block classes, so each semester you earn 4 credits. If you need help or get behind on assignments, you stay after school to catch up. This makes it a lot easier for the student to succeed and excel academically. The school offers a wide variety of extra curricular activities, clubs and sports to keep students busy. FIS works closely with SDSU (South Dakota State University) with hopes the students will continue on to college @SDSU after graduation. I am so glad my parents encouraged and supported my attendance at FIS. It was some of the best times of my life. 😁❤
