Flatbush Frameworks

I took 5 printed pieces to Flatbush Frameworks and was pleased by Michael's thoughtful suggestions to showcase the work and match my taste. They look eccentric better in person. I would absolutely recommend Flatbush Frameworks and Michael to anyone looking for great customer support and an amazing final product! I also appreciate him dropping off the items as I don't drive.

Amazing job! I love the work of Flatbush Frameworks. The frames were beautiful and well chosen. I had a vision only for one of the paintings and the other ones Michael chose himself. He did an amazing job, and the price was really justified. I am sure I will be back for more works.

Mike is incredibly professional, friendly, and puts a lot of care into framing your artwork. Prices are very reasonable. Lot of frame options and great turnaround time for custom framing. We will definitely be bringing back more artwork to frame. Thank you Mike!!

Michael did a fantastic job on a very small drawing I brought in. Better than I could have imagined. And he very thoughtfully included the 1 small piece of hanging hardware. Thanks so much, Michael! Don’t hesitate, bring anything you need to frame here. It’ll be well taken care of.

I found Mike quite by accident, but it was serendipitous. He has a fantastic eye and feel for framing. He has framed four pieces for me, and it would have been more. He has advised me quite rightly when a work need not be framed and left alone. As well, when less is more.

Mike is kind, attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable. He mounted and framed two large, museum-quality prints for my home; I'm thrilled with the result and the quality of the job reflects his craft. He gave me valuable recommendations when I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to go in, and was patient as we evaluated various options together. Excited to return!

I had a wonderful experience with Michael. He did a truly beautiful job framing my art for me. He is friendly and helpful and little details like adding little padded felt pieces to the back of the bottom of the frame to protect your walls when you hang the pieces shows the kind of detail that is above and beyond. I love supporting someone in the neighborhood doing work they love. I will only ever have Michael touch my art from now on. Couldn’t recommend more.

Michael did a good job with my two posters. On my own, I would have gone with black frames. With Michael's eye, and his sample framing material, we chose gold and burgundy. The frames both play off colors in the posters. The gold frame, shown below, works well with the metallic elements in the image. I would have liked more frame options, but for my project, he had enough. The posters came out quite nice.

Mike is my go-to framer. He's framed 5 pieces for me over the last several years, and is always a pleasure: beautiful work, reasonable prices, and really helpful in talking through different options. And he's just a lovely guy -- a Brooklyn fire chief, who's turned his garage into a kitted-out framing studio. So the whole experience of going down this residential street and stepping into his framing wonderland feels special, and personal. He's really responsive over text to coordinate pick-up as well.

Flatbush framework has been a solid source for all my framing. Clean work, turn around time has been fantastic & you simply can't beat his prices..A true New Yorker through and through..These are just two of 68 pieces framed..
