Flattop Pizza & Pool

Quiet upon my visit Monday, during a snow storm! This is a sports bar with multiple TVs. Large number of beers on tap and reasonably priced food menu. I had the Ale House Pie pizza to you and me. Very tasty and very well cooked. The crust was firm and crunchy and the toppings were cooked just enough to be warm and tasty. One of the best pizzas I have had in a while. Slight drawback was the time it took from order to delivery of the 'pies'. But I can appreciate that the time was used to properly prepare our meals. 4 stars at the moment as it was a very quiet night. I wonder how it is on busy nights?

Ever been downtown in a city where you discover culinary and libation nirvana? Flattop Pizza and adjoining Humpy’s Alehouse are just that in Anchorage. There is no one better than Elizabeth!! She served 20 of us!!! She’s literally the Queen of Awesomeville. Interior decor, seating, menu, restrooms, view, ambiance… Perfection! Oh - and the food: TOP TIER. The delicious pizza, salads, calamari, chicken wings, and Alaskan halibut options like blackened and halibut-and-chips were prized delights. A must-stop if you’re downtown. If you’re a tourist downtown, even better because you can walk there. Scrumptious!! And my first time here.

Greatest Mac and Cheese I've had since I've last been to Wisconsin. If you love Mac and it's chessy goodness then do put this on your bucket list of stops.Food: 5/5

I use to love coming here when it was flattop pizza and pool. I wanted to give it a try after the changes because I was hoping it would still be my favorite spot. The service is great as always. A little slow but she was busy so I understand. The food was not great and overpriced. Probably won’t be back anymore and that makes me sad :

The new Chef here makes authentic homemade pasta cooked al dente. Absolute perfection. The menu is simple and enticing, the food tastes tremendous. The beer selection is very nice and bartenders are awesome. Well done Flattop!

I love flattop pizza. Beer on tap and some of the best pizza around. Crust is light an airy with the crispness needed for satisfaction without heaviness of a pan crust. Fresh ingredients. Enjoyed a Cynosure saison with dinner and it was a perfect pairing of crisp refreshing brew with my Alehouse classic pie. Sports on 4 big screens behind the bar and located within a few minutes walk of where I was staying. I am a repeat customer and not dissapointed. Worth a visit menu to satisfy a range of tastes for tasty american flavor

Staff was nice. One pool table. Lots of beers. Awesome pizza! Got the special. Spicy chicken deluxe.

Delicious! Went to watch an NFL game, the service was great even with them being busy, food was really good!

Good pizza and great variety of beer. I would have rated 4 or 5 stars but gave them a 3 due to slow customer service. The last 2 times I have been here they only had 1 person working the bar and waiting on tables. I recently took my friends here that were visiting from out of state and it took so long to order that we ended up only getting 1 beer before I had to take them to the airport, so unfortunately my guest were not able to eat before leaving Anchorage. I hope Flat Top is able to hire more servers because I noticed they are losing a lot of business with only 1 person working FOH. They lost our business because they couldnt manage to take our order within 45 minutes and a lot of people walking in, waiting, and leaving after not being greeted/seated within 5-10 min.

I wanted to try reindeer and was tired of walking in circles downtown and I was hungry so I decided to give this place a try. The reindeer sausage fettuccine pasta was good but the sausage seemed a little tough although i’m not sure what its supposed to taste like. The service was slow but I attribute that to being very understaffed. So 3 stars it is.
