Rural wetland. Saw ducks. Deer tracks, no deer. A fish jumped in nearby river, but missed seeing it. Lots of hawks seen on trip down there and while exploring surrounding countryside. Was March but still winter for most part while there. So not a lot of green to fields or trees. Not some scenic mountains just Kansas countryside, low hills. More to southwest hilly but not by much. Still I went for quiet of country and was worth my time.

No formal visitor center. A few signs and a couple of trail heads visible from the road...didn't have time to explore them.

Wish the paths were a little better maintenence but it is beautiful.
