After my daughter moved to New York I was looking for a florist near her that I could use to send her flowers and happened upon Flowers by Nicholas. From my first phone call I knew I had stumbled upon a real gem. Nicholas, the owner, offers old fashioned customer service that goes above and beyond and Ismael, their floral designer, creates arrangements that are absolutely beautiful. Their recommendations are always spot on and my daughter always loves the flowers she receives. She sends me a picture of each arrangement and I am never disappointed. When you need to order flowers I highly recommend using Flowers by Nicholas.

I cannot say how great my flowers look on my wedding day !!!! My tables, bridesmaids bouquet , my bouquet was exactly how i want it!!!!! He arrived earlier then he suppose, in case of traffic, left his car running so my flowers can stay fresh and beautiful. Nicholas very professional florist !!! It was so pleasure working with him ,and probably i still will ,because he has the best flowers in NYC and great taste!!! U really feel how he works with you. I highly recommend it to use his service!!!

Great experience! I ordered flowers over the phone from another state for a friend in the hospital. Flower by Nicholas was extremely helpful choosing an arrangement that fit my price range. When the arrangement arrived it was described as the " the biggest most beautiful bouquet EVER seen". Due to the hospital policy my friend could not receive flowers ICU. Flower by Nicholas went the extra mile, met with a family member at a near by hotel and delivered the flowers. I would like to give a special thanks to the designer that I spoke with. Thank you for all your help.

I recently ordered flowers sight unseen over the phone for my wife for our two year anniversary and they were beautiful. The man I spoke to on the phone Nicholas himself I think was extremely nice and helpful and assured me that he would put together a great presentation, and then followed through on that promise and had them delivered on time to her office. I had a great experience and highly recommend the business to others.

I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Flowers by Nicholas! Ish - the floral designer/stylist - was fantastic to work with! He was patient and very responsive to all my questions and requests for changes. The flower arrangements he made were truly beautiful. It was basically a stress free experience, as not only were the flowers gorgeous and exactly what I wanted and hoped for but they were delivered promptly, without a hitch. I'm delighted to now know about this gem of a florist and definitely plan on using them again!

BE VERY CAREFUL. “Old Fashioned service” that fails to deliver. I ordered a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaids' bouquets and a boutonniere 2.5 months in advance of my wedding for a sum of $285 in cash. I requested peonies which accounted for the high price. One week before the wedding I was called and asked to come to the store and told that peonies were not available and that roses could be substituted. On payment, I requested whether a discount could be made given the lower cost of roses but was told this was not possible and instead more roses would be used in the arrangements. On the morning of the wedding, the flowers were delivered but the colours used were not the ones I had ordered, stems were showing, all three bouquets were small and fewer roses had been used than agreed and the ribbons were tied very sloppily. I pointed out the mistakes and the delivery man/designer returned to the store. We were delayed in leaving for our ceremony. After about an hour he returned with the correct colour for the bridal bouquet however the ribbon arrangement and number of flowers did not change. I again pointed this out by showing the delivery man the emails and the order. He responded that my order had not been communicated correctly by the owner and he agreed that the flowers were not worth $285 but he couldn’t do anymore without delaying us even further for our ceremony. During the ceremony several of the flowers fell out of the bridal bouquet, so it was discarded. After the ceremony, I wrote an email to point out the mistakes. Despite having written evidence to the contrary, the owner refused to acknowledge the mistakes and had no interest in meeting to discuss my complaint and even suggested that I was being threatening and insulting. VERY POOR quality product and service. Would NOT recommend.

Wonderful family-owned business. Nicholas and his son are super friendly and make a lot of efforts to satisfy clients. I have used them to get small bouquets given my limited budget and the results have always been excellent. Hard to find more bang for your buck in Manhattan.

Flowers by Nicholas is a true family owned and operated shop that delivers BIG results that always suprise and delight the recepient of flowers. I have been using them for over 20 years and am always happy with the professionalism with which they deliver and arrange their flowers. I wooed my wife of over 10 years using Nick to help me and it has only be pleasant and joyful to deal with Nick. Use Flowers by Nicholas for your floral needs large or small and you will be glad that you did. Fantastic business owned by a fantastic guy.

I've ordered Be My Love Bouquet with Red Roses: 8 roses, 4 opened lilys, 7 daisys, and green leaves. The photo looks good, but they sent me different bouquet : 5 roses, 3 old hydrangea and 1 closed lily. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I've claimed about the flower that the flower he sent us was different than the photo on the web. We argued and in the end he said he doesn't matter what photo looks like, we use what we have that day. I decided not to talk to him anymore and said goodbye.
