So this location is not my fav at all! Few things to note before booking a ride at this location: 1. I am not sure who made the floor plan, but it is extremely tight! Very hard to get around the space, especially before and after class. 2. If you sweat profusely, maybe consider another location that has more than one shower. Due to the fact that there is only one shower, there is a long wait to shower. 3. If you can change into your spin clothes before you get to the studio DO SO. There is only one changing room and two bathrooms, despite a class size of 20+ people. So either come in 30 mins before your class starts to change or come ready to hop on the bike to avoid a long bathroom/changing room line. 3. They don't have all the goodies that the 59th st location has. That location is awesome and I will be back there soon! :
Every Friday when I would go to reserve my bikes for the coming week I would notice that this instructor Natalie Cohen Gould was almost sold out and booking wasn't even open to non-members. Last summer I went to the hamptons one weekend and decided that I had to see for myself what people thought was so amazing about Natalie. I drove over an hour to the east Hampton studio for the class. The room was filled with her regular riders and when she got on the bike it was apparent why she has such a strong following. Her class is unbelievable and she truly deserve the title of master instructor. Not only is her playlist filled with a mix of the most current songs, throwbacks, and interesting remixes, but she really teaches on the beat. When she calls out the rpm and torque numbers, it isn't a range, but actual precise and thought out numbers. She came up to me after class and introduced herself to me since I was a new face and she didnt recognize me. And now that I take her class regularly I know that she is that kind of instructor. She knows all her riders and makes sure to give everyone a shout out. She even has the whole room clap for new riders when she welcomes them. If you are looking for an inspiring and intense workout then try to get into one of Natalie's coveted classes. Or you can just email her and she will get you off the waitlist!
The Power 45 at FlyBarre is awesome here! They have bottled water, towels, lockers, 2 bathrooms and 3 shower stalls. Always super clean and the staff is great
- Great studio space, clean and bright - Easy sign up online - Friendly customer service - Complimentary water, fruits and towel give it back of course! - Shoe rental is included - It's dark inside so you don't have to be self-conscious - They do a screen where you can see how you rank amongst other riders you can opt out, which I did because I didn't want to see how bad I did - Their bikes are easy to use
