Working with Lighthouse Films was an easy and amazing process from start to finish. They helped me set my rental insurance all within 24 hours. Also, they took the time to setup a custom package tailored to shoot that I was working on provided awesome tips and advice for what equipment would work best. The prices are the best in NYC and the manager Mr. Thibaut will personally help you get the best insurance, equipment and gear to best fit your needs. They are definitely the best place for productions rentals in the city and I plan on working with them again.

Great professional services and down to earth people to talk with. I rented lighting gear from this company and they suggested me the right setup for an interview. Communicating through email while being in Canada was clear. Everything promised was executed. Equipment was top notch. It looked almost new when I took it out of the packaging. I had no issue with anything being broken. Spare bulbs were provided. All I needed was included. They know how to pack things along with necessary accessories needed for the shoot such as lighting gloves. Thanks guys! Will be back... and I enjoyed New York!

I was interested in trying out the video features on the new Canon 5D Mark3. I was able to rent one from LightHouse Films within a few days. They were very helpful in showing me how the camera operates and gave me a quick tutorial on continuous lighting. I also asked them questions about post production.The guys at LightHouse are very top notch and their pricing very competitive. The rental experience was very smooth. Highly recommended!

Renting from Lighthouse Films was a really great experience. What I liked best was that I could print out the documents I needed from their website, fill them out, scan them, and email them in. I took care of all of the paperwork before I even got there. When I arrived, all I had to do was sign a paper and leave with the equipment. It was so quick and easy. I appreciate quick and easy. However I stayed for a few minutes for the guy to go over how to use the equipment to make sure I got what I wanted out of it. I am definitely using them for my rental needs going forward. I felt the prices were fair, and now I am excited knowing that I have a place to get the equipment I need for the shoots I have coming up in the next few months. Thanks Lighthouse Films!

LightHouse Films provided our shoot with rental audio gear. Thibaut personally handled the order from reservation to returns. He was easy to reach, helpful, and followed-up afterwards, which is why I think he and his company deserve a very positive review. During an unusually busy week with less than ideal lead time, LightHouse offered our production the gear we needed. They quickly delivered a replacement for a microphone that was not functioning properly on set, and provided us with extra connectors we requested, free of charge. As someone who has worked for and with several rental houses in the area, I feel they stand out from the rest while offering competitive pricing for their market.

After reserving equipment weeks in advance they canceled my order less than two days before my production was scheduled to begin the night before pick up. They canceled the order because they had to fulfill requests for bigger productions that requested the equipment well after I did. They are happy to screw over the little guys at this place. Renters beware.

Lighthouse were a pleasure to do business with. Efficient, helpful and great value for money. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing kit in NYC. All the equipment was in excellent condition and some even brand new. I'm very glad I found them, they saved me lots of $$ and time which is always appreciated!

Found Lighthouse on google when I searched for a place to rent a Steadicam Merlin. The equipment was in excellent condition. A staff member at Lighthouse even explained how to use it since it was my first time trying it out. They were understanding when I needed an extra hour on my rental period and overall were very helpful.
