Foley's

You don't have to love Irish fare to enjoy Foley's, (although they do offer a sublime bangers & mash). They have the best burgers in town, featuring a half pound of beef (ground in their kitchen), on a delicious roll with all the fixin's -- served with fries that were also done just right. Splitting the burger had us both very full and content.) The atmosphere is cozy Irish flare -- a terrific place to duck out of a moist coastal evening. Our server was very cordial, and patient in helping us decide between the burger or the corned beef and cabbage. We'll definitely be going back.

Have been there twice. Each experience has been the same. Wonderful!. Delicious food , comfortable atmosphere a great Irish Pub. If your lucky you might over here a locals experience with scotch whiskey the night before.

Foley's is hit or miss and boy did they miss! In the past we are here once a day on our trips and that was our plan but after bad service and even worse food we took ourselves elsewhere the rest of the weekend. If I felt that they cared I would have said something but that wasn't the case. The first night it was a different crew and it was good. Second night they weren't that busy, gave me the wrong beer but insisted it was right. I don't need to go on. Just beware.

Went on Black Friday-nice, clean pub and very busy on a holiday weekend. Friendly, hard-working staff.....but only 3 (including the cook!). Good Bloody Mary's but food wasn't all that. Fish was over cooked and greasy, veggie burger was strangely shaped and fried? Maybe if the cook wasn't having to run out and take drink orders, food would have been better. Also, FAIR WARNING: Although it is a "seat yourself" type of restaurant, you could be asked to move if you pick a table not small enough for your group. I watched a couple pick a table that could have seated 4 and the owner promptly asked them to move to a table for 2. Found it rude and odd. (Several reviewers below also mention this).

Sheppard's Pie and Bread Pudding are out of this world. Atmosphere is relaxing, Staff are all wonderful and very polite. All in all, if you don't eat here, you will be sorry. I highly recommend this place.
