The staff at Fontana are friendly and they are gear experts. I always go here first. The big Seattle chain is a great backup, but the staff there are not as specialized or usually as knowledgeable. Get your ski boots at Fontana for sure, great boot fitters!
They have a 'dividend' program too, well worth signing up for.

A lot of really good outdoorsy products and great, friendly help is always around the corner.  I was in a few times for ski service and the salespeople were great.  No chain feel to their store or staff!

Very helpful staff, and a great selection of items. Watch out for some vacations table though. It looked like a huge scam.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The brands they carry are also quality. There is a small fly fishing section as well with the essentials for area trout fishing.
