Great store and love that they carry Royal Canin dog food!!
Great place to get vaccines ro administer to your new pet. They have everything you need .
AMENDMENT:The owner stood by his customer service claim and sent a very pleasant driver to exchange the shoddy hat with a good replacement. I am actually outside the delivery zone so this was above and beyond! The driver said FootHill was dropping the substandard supplier. A good thing for everyone! So I want to update my complaint and give them all stars. Generally this place is pretty good, loads cheaper than DaMoors, but the last load of hay I got was awful. It was so loosely packed that the bales slump into a heap as soon as I cut the strings. No bats at all! I had to scoop up the hay into bins to feed and half of it is wasted all over the floor. On top of that it was full of spiders and other biting insects that fell down my overalls and and covered me in itchy welts. Not happy with this expensive but crummy hay. Please check your delivery for quality. Thank you RE your response. I had to pay a driver to pick up and unload at my Altadena ranch. I am not willing to pay again for him to come here reload and drive it up to you to exchange for something that might be no better at all. Are you willing to come here and exchange this unusable hay? That would be actual customer service
Their billing system is questionable. Started charging me 15$ for a gas fee, NOT a delivery fee, just gas fee while people at my barn still paid nothing or 10$. We are 2miles away. It’s less than a 5 min drive for 15$. I get that everyone hurt but prices overall went up and 15$ is a rip off for only gas, not delivery fee. I was told they will keep increasing the gas fee. But they don’t tell you when ordering. I don’t appreciate a surprise charge. Tell people over the phone please and rethink what a fair charge might be for customers in your neighborhood area.
I come here every month for the last 5 months. So far the experience is nice. No one has been rude to me in the counter. But the guys at the warehouse is a lot friendlier than the counter staff. Price wise they have good value. The lay pellets I buy here is 3$ cheaper than surrounding feed stores. Its packaged cheaply and will have feed powder into your cloths. But I dont care I buying feed for the hens not the fancy packaging. As far as good I will update in case I discover some gems in thier shop
I buy my shampoo and conditioner here. Yes it’s advertised for horses but it’s the same kind sold for humans at Target store . If I had an actual horse I would shop here for supplies. I also saw food and supplies for dogs and chickens. I buy “dinosaur” bones here for my dog. The bone is huge, my dog doesn’t even know what to do with it. Staff is helpful and friendly. lots of parking.
I just came with a friend that need something from there, not very familiar with this business
This feed store is wonderful. I hope they keep growing and branching out to the horse community. Tell them what you want, and the manager goes out of his way to see that it gets ordered, despite all the crazy trucking supply issues. The help are polite, pleasant, and go out of their way to assist you. Nice staff. Without giving another stores name - I had three horses colic on bad hay at the same time - ugh! Prior to that, I accepted free dog treats from same store which made all four of my dogs very ill with three older ones dying one at a time in the year after being poisoned by the "free treats". The store owner told me to mail bag with sample of treats in it. Dogs had consumed all of them. Next day they all had severe diahrea, developed infections. The dogs passing because those treats had no bar code and we're from CHINA made them unsafe to distribute, yet the owner did anyways at my extreme expense. The cremations from AfterCare for all three came to almost one thousand, not counting the vet bills, stress, heartache of losing my pack of beloved guard dogs. I wasn't about to lose my horses from colic created by bad hay and the same store again. Stick with Foothill Feed and tell them precisely what grade quality of hay you need. Don't just say what type.
I was looking for Dry Stall, pumice to mix with soil for succulents, and almost drove to LaHabra to buy it. Little did I know it was available just a few miles from my home. This place has all kinds of supplies for animals at great prices. Plenty of parking and freeway close.
What a great place! I have lots of different animals! They have bedding, seed, food for dogs, cats, chickens, etc. Horse, goat, pigs, what ever! Great selection! Friendly! Will clearly give the little Pet Supreme competition; which has difficult to parkOmg and overcrowded store. Foothill Feed has plenty of easy parking and roomy inside store and outdoor feed. Love this place!!
