For Pet's Sake

Really wanted to like this place but this isn’t the first time they’ve cut my puppy. First time was a cut on his private area and he was traumatized after that and wouldn’t let anyone near him. This time they’ve cut him so close to his eye which is just sad because this could’ve been worse and he could’ve lost vision. This is definitely the last time I will be visiting this place. Really unfortunate because I would rather support them than petsmart or Petco.

Frank my doodle and I are very happy! Lee does a great job. They don't have an uppity attitude like some of the other places around here. The place is clean, calm for a groomer's shop, they're friendly and accommodating. Thanks!

I highly recommend this place especially if you have a standard poodle! They really know how to achieve a clean face and feet and styles. I also really appreciate how I was able to get same or next day appointments. Great staff and environment.

I take my cat to get groomed once a year because he is long haired and gets mats. I just moved to Alexandria from about an hour away and my cat has never had any problems getting groomed he is 7 years old. When I dropped him off they asked if I could please stay and help, without even seeing my cat. I didn’t even realize what they meant, as I’ve never been asked to help do the job. I left and 10 minutes later I get a call to come back to help. I rushed back to the groomer to find them trying to groom my cat on a table in the middle of a room with dogs running around. After their half hearted 10 minute attempt to groom my cat they gave up.

I would not recommend this place unfortunately. It takes a lot for me to complain but I was so unimpressed with the entire process. When I picked up my german shepherd, they had another dog off leash creating a stressful environment for my girl who already does not like going to the groomer. Then the most shocking part, they charged me $130 and did not even give her a bath and she was covered in hair. Thank goodness for the refund because we will never be going back.

My mom's cat looks amazing!!! She got a full service; bath and a lion haircut. The staff is super friendly, and I saw the dogs there and they look very cute too. We will 100% go back! We found our groomer!

Our dog dreaded going to the groomer. We now go to For Pet's Sake and our dog loves getting groomed. He looks terrific and truly enjoys all the compliments about his stylishly groomed black, long hair coat. For Pet's Sake is the best!
