When visiting be sure to go across to Miss Lou Heritage an request Jeremy to give a tour/history on Forks of the Road. Great tour, significant history to Natchez being it was the second largest slave trading post in the U. S.

A reminder to the inhumanity that happened here on this soil. It makes yourself crawl to sit there and read what our for father's did to other humans.

Wonderful information about the slave trade. May be more reading than most would prefer. It's a quick stop, no more than 20 minutes. Much of the information seemed to center around places other than Natchez

As a Natchezian, I was not aware of how much of America's history started right here at this monumental place. I love learning new things about my history and culture and the Forks of the Road taught me a lot about that.

Great little stop, well worth the visit. Free, no cost to see this memorial.
