Words cannot accurately describe just how terrible and unorganized this place truly is. Please go to another college. Literally ANY college on the planet would be a step up from this one. The staff are mostly uneducated and have no clue how to help anyone. Literally every time I go to this place to get anything done (records, transcripts, etc.) I always have problems and can't even get what I drove there for accomplished. I can't even sign into my techlink account and drove there to get it reset but HOW convenient... their I.T. department closes at 2pm. Who closes at 2pm at a college? This isn't exactly spring break. I was considering applying for the nursing program here, but I refuse to ever give this "institution" (if you can really call it that) one more penny. They don't care about their students. If they did they would invest some of that tuition money to build a real parking lot instead of charging you $25 PER CAR to park in a gravel lot full of rocks and dirt. Save yourself and run while you can, because Forsyth Tech is the dead end college of broken dreams and sweet nothings.

I just wanna throw a quick shoutout to Forsyth Tech. I've been around the college block - NCState, RCC, Duke... and Forsyth Tech has been the most impressive quality-wise BY FAR. State and Duke have pretty facilities and a huge amount of class options, but FT is so very consistent on the message of "Finding out your career is hard - here's some real life stuff to think about and talk about". They have tons of career fairs, and almost every class I've taken has had a passionate professor who was very adamant about how important it is to embrace learning. It's such a refreshing experience going to this school. I love how much experience I've gained from my school adventures so far, but I do kinda wish I had started here at Forsyth. I think they would have saved me so much stress, debt and academic/introspective grief. Rock on, FT. Thank you for being awesome.

I'm only here bc I have to be, such an aweful, disorganized, joke of administration that just cannot seem to do more than hang out. If you have the option, go to any other school for anything engineering/ automotive related. The dean of transportation and engineering is an "expert" without a degree or even so much as a single day of experience in a fabrication shop. If you don't mind this be my guest at your own risk. Thankfully the instructors work VERY hard at accommodating majority of their management's short comings. For the price, the time, and location I'd say look elsewhere; however, if you can manage to work around the lack of constructive guidance then more power to ya.

Forsyth Tech is where I began my college education after returning back to school. I was able to save a lot of money by earning half of my college credits here and then transferring. Forsyth Tech prepared me for my transfer and I met some amazing professors and students along the way. Also, their coffee at Bytes & Beans Cafe is really good! Thank you Forsyth Tech for providing "education for life"
