So fun and interesting. Such a cool experience. Spoke with the park ranger, he was helpful and friendly. They do charge $5 per car to enter, I didn't know that ahead of time. Luckily I had cash and the Ranger was close by. Worth checking out if you like history

A lot of history here! Very easy walking paths to see the buildings. Amazing that they still have as many of the buildings used in the fort preserved as much as they were! It was a lot bigger than I would have thought and the signs along the paths were very informative.

Cool place but they need to clean up the branches and brush along the driveway so my 5th wheel gets less scratches

Such a cool place. I had no idea there was a fort still standing. Enjoyed walking in the footsteps of those long gone soldiers. Beautiful camp ground and picnic area. Carson river runs along side. Huge trees and beautiful valley. Great place to picture wagon trains bringing settlers to the west. A must see for all Americans.

Amazing out of the way, little known slice of Nevadan history. 10/10 will return.
