My family loves the food. Never any complaints. Reminds us of NYC.Food: 5/5
this is one of the best Chinese foods in Bridgeport they should deliver they would make a killingFood: 5/5
I haven't been to this place in YEARS, possibly decades! That being said, I remember this place for their INCREDIBLE General Tso's chicken which used to be actual chunks of chicken - and not the bits I was given - and was so spicy, that I would cough during the first 2 bites! It was so good! Back in the day I was quite disappointed that they only accept cash, so if you dont carry any, you have to go to the laundromat next door and use their ATM. I was even more disappointed when I got home with my orders. My white rice was mushy and the "General Tso's" - and I use the term ironically - chicken bits were very unfortunate and sub-standard. Another order had fried rice was it hard and not at all how it should be. I wont be going back and that makes me sad. I'll always have my memories of how good it used to be and knowing I was a part of their "golden age".
They stepped their game up!! Covid 19 made people straighten up their attitudes. Everyone.
Honestly hit or miss depending on what time you go and what day kind of if you know you know type of deal not the best not the worst but certain things like the rice and is above average which is really not saying much so pretty fair GOOD FAST CHEAP ..PICK 2Food: 3/5
I got a boneless chicken meal with pork fried rice and the boneless chicken was not that great and it was like way too much breading and when I plucked the bread off it didn't look like chicken and it tasted like seafood .other than the rice was really good but that boneless chicken was not great at all. And make sure it's real chicken please and use fresh oil . What if I was allergic to seafood. You cooked in the same seafood oil yuck
Fortune Cookie has consistently remained one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Bridgeport. I don't eat as much Chinese food as I did back in the day but I definitely ate there when I lived on the West side around 1999 and every now and then I'll go back for some House Special Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, and General Tso Chicken. Quick, hassle free service because they've been dealing with the community for years and the prices honestly compare to other fast food Chinese restaurants.
I just ordered 5 different orders from this place and let me tell you! Awesome sauce. Im very picky with Chinese restaurants but these guys are definitely my place now. Loved the Sesame Chicken with pork fried rice!
My grandpa was the one to get the food and pick it up on my behalf- during halfway of eating the food their was a dead smash up roach in my rice food. Meanless to say I will not get food here from this place again.
