Phenomenal job and very helpful report. Every reachable place was inspected thoroughly. Our inspection was scheduled quickly and completed on time. Greg was a professional during the entire process.
I highly recommend Greg for your home inspection. He is very professional and personable as well. He was extremely thorough with the inspection and walked me through the details of the entire inspection. The inspection included pictures and recommendations for anything that needed to be fixed. He then walked me through a few things in the house, knowing that I am a first time home buyer. I had a co-worker recommend Greg for our home inspection and I’m so glad that he did. I will continue to recommend Foundation-2-Rooftop for anyone who is looking for a 5 company!!
My wife and I are stationed in Virginia with the Air Force and Greg was kind enough to face time us to be part of the inspection. As his many reviews indicated, Greg was very thorough and walked us through complete with pictures later in his 48 page report the entire inspection process. His detail and dedication to making us feel comfortable was welcoming and solidified our decision to hire him. Being that the house we were looking at buying was 114 years old, the advice he gave us enabled us to make a sound financial decision. I'd recommend his inspection services to ANYONE looking for an "honest" assessment.
I highly recommend Foundation 2 Rooftop for whole house inspections, either as the Buyer or Seller. We recently used them as the Buyer. Greg Wayman provided a thorough 4-hour professional inspection of a home in Lincoln, followed by a slide show of photos and walk-through with our agent. I stayed on the property during Greg's inspection, and he was organized, well equipped, and maintained a brisk pace throughout the afternoon. A 40-page detailed report that included the photos was delivered by email the same day. Greg had the highest level of certifications in our search for a good home inspector. He is very knowledgeable on home safety and provides guidance on the proper repairs and remedies. On top of that he is friendly and personable. Greg exceeded our expectations with the service provided.
I can't say enough about how great Greg was to work with. He let my father-in-law join him for the inspection he is a contractor from Iowa and walked him through everything that he noticed. He did a great job advising us on what we should pay most of our attention to. Greg provided a written and video documentation of everything they looked through. It has been very handy to go back and see the "heads up" he gave us on smaller issues so that we are able to make fixes at our own pace. Our realtor tried to sway us from using Greg because he was too thorough -- as a home buyer there is no such thing as too thorough. I felt really informed ad knowledgeable purchasing our home as we knew everything about it, inside and out! Thanks again for being so kind and for providing such a peace of mind!
Greg was very professional and very helpful through the whole process. He spent nearly 4 hours inspecting my home and was very thorough, he even inspected the trees! He not only gave the realtor a written inspection, but he made a video for me to review. The video contained even more information about things that don't pertain to a home inspection and gave advice on how to address certain concerns, and the best ways to maintain mostly everything in the house. I would recommend him to anyone buying a house!
Greg is the most qualified, experienced and ethical inspector in Omaha. My wife and I are first time home buyers. Greg discovered several issues including a critical safety issue with the property we intended to buy that saved us from disaster. Greg is very thorough and knowledgeable. If you are buying a home, hire Greg to protect your best interests. Unfortunately, real estate agents and brokers care far more about selling you instead of protecting you. Thank you Greg!
Go for the GREG!!- I have been told the same from my friends and Family who had the great experience working with Greg for getting their inspection done. I'm one more fully satisfied customer in a position to say Go for the Greg!! : Trust me, you will not find the better person to do this job. He just went out of his way to help me on the furnace issue which seller's agent was not agreed for and he ended up calling to the company who fixed it and have them schedule to verify their fix so that they can find the crack in heat exchanger and replace it. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and punctual If I ever require these services again I'll be sure to call GREG first! Thanks you, GREG!!
Greg did a home inspection on one of my properties I was selling. I thought he was detailed, which was good. The biggest reason I put a two star was not because he found issues with my house, but I think he "scares" buyers away from buying really nice homes so they will look for another house and he will get 2-3 inspections out of a buyer. Let's be honest, a home inspector isn't a licensed electrician, plumber, roofer, foundation contract, etc. They don't know everything. I would rather have a detailed inspection than someone who misses stuff, so for that, I think Greg is good. I write this review to warn people that if you use Greg, get an "licensed export" who specializes in the field to evaluate the repairs BEFORE you cancel the contract. My house was the second house the buyer didn't buy because of the inspection. He paid almost $800 in inspection costs. It was too bad because they were getting a really good deal despite the work that was needed. I ended up finding out that the buyer stuck with renting because he was too scared to buy a house after paying Greg for two home inspections. After this, I started asking around about Greg. I knew a young first time home buyer that paid Greg for 3 home inspections! Greg almost scared the buyer out of the 3rd house, but they got a few roofers out to look at the damage. Greg said there needed to be a whole new roof. After four roofers that the buyer picked went out, all four said it had normal wear and there was still about 6 years left. He ended up buying the house. I bet that Greg makes more money than any other home inspector in town because he "scares" buyers away. All inspectors in town do photos. Greg doesn't do photos, just video. If you do want a video, take out your smart phone during the walkthrough and videotape it yourself. Don't pay $50-75 more for Greg to videotape an inspection you can yourself. Best of luck with your inspection!
