I am so beyond disappointed with this facility. The last 2 times I have call to try and get my kids in to see their pediatrician because of them being sick. I waited we’ll over 3hrs for a call back. Both times I called first thing in the morning. After not hearing anything for 2hrs I call just to make sure they had the right number or to make sure I didn’t miss the call. They told me I was still in line to hear back from the nurse. When they finally called they told me they couldn’t get me a appointment because they had no available appointments. I had to reschedule my kids scheduled wellness visits twice because they were sick the day of their appointments and they refused to see them because now that’s considered a sick visit and not a well visit. They even refused to change my appointments to sick visits because all sick appointments were full. Then when I reschedule their wellness visit I have to wait over 2 months to be seen for a appointment they canceled because they refused to see my kids! Your doctor is suppose to be there for you sick or not . I love my children’s pediatrician. She is a very caring and knowledgeable lady. But it is ridiculous that I can’t get in to see my kids doctor because this office has gone down hill. When I had my daughter I never had a issue getting in to see her doc. There was never a issue to get a same day appointment with her doctor.
The doctor office operates with a call back system that is destined for failure. No response and no communication, or dialogue between patient, nurse, or doctor. Every time I am told by my daughters school to call the dr about something, I am playing phone tag and give up. Do not send your child here. This is the lowest quality care I’ve ever experienced. If someone thinks this establishment is good it’s only because they haven’t experienced quality care and don’t know any better. Switching providers ASAP
I do not know what happened to this clinic. Been with them years now and when I say it's near impossible to get scheduled, it is not an exaggeration. Why do I have to describe personal medical things to a non medical person? I get over that and do it anyways, then I have to wait hours to get a nurse to call back just to say no appointments today, call back tomorrow. Why can you not just schedule an appointment for another day? Why have I had but 3 hours sleep nightly for 27 days and have to go to the er for them to tell me follow up with my Pcp who I can never get in to see. This is absolutely ridiculous and it's obvious I am not the only person this is happening to.
I’ve been a patient here for almost two years now and have had a generally great experience with my treatment. Dr. Kim is my primary care physician and he is really great. Dr. Foster, my psychiatrist, has also been really awesome. They are great about returning messages and calls promptly. The only complaint I have is that there really should be either more therapists on staff or ones with more availability. 30 minutes, once a month is not enough to get much accomplished and I was told that there was no way to be seen more often.
I am a new patient. Switched from cottage corner. The doctor's and nurses are outstanding. They're very helpful and nice. They treat everyone with love and are very understanding. I had blood drawn and it didn't go well for me but lady who drew my blood was such a great help and the lady at the front desk by the waiting room as well. I was really scared and they didn't leave me. They made me feel comfortable. I recommend the health center to everyone due to my experience.
I used to think I loved this place until sometime before/during/after Covid when everything changed. If I had symptoms of anything & wished to see my doctor, I’d have to call, tell everything to a receptionist, wait to have a call back from a nurse within 24-48 hours, even receiving calls as late as 8PM, tell that nurse every single thing I told the receptionist in order to get an appointment scheduled. Sometimes it wouldn’t even be that easy/simple, I’d tell the nurse & be instructed to call back the next day for scheduling same day appointment, only to call the next day & repeat myself twice again 1x to the receptionist, & 1x to the nurse who calls back 24-48hours again so now I’ve told 4 different people my issues waiting for #4 with nurse call back spent 4 days waiting to SCHEDULE an appointment & this time around I didn’t even receive that 4th person/call #2 from nurse so I didn’t get to schedule at all. My calls started Thursday & it’s now Saturday. I am so upset, I’ve already started my search for a new provider. Been with them 6 years & not to mention Peter Kim under rates everything you go in for, if you are worried about something he’ll say there’s nothing to worry about without running any tests, doesn’t recommend labs for wellness checks for adults so you’ll never know you have any health issues unless you end up critically ill or die, or just so happen to Guess your illness or hereditary disease by googling your symptoms and then ask him specifically for those tests. It went from 6 stars to 0. I’m very upset.
The doctors are decent but calling to schedule an appointment is impossible. I have had to take my child to the hospital multiple times because the front desk employees who have no medical education or degree decides if my child is sick enough to passed through to a nurse or if i have to wait all day to get a call back. Right now i am getting my two year old ready for a hospital visit that could have very easily been solved in office today. This is the norm here
I went in for a root canal but they dont provide that service. So, i asked for an extraction and was told that i had to wait a week for an appointment. I was in extreme pain. Before i left, i asked for a topical to alleviate my pain for a little while. The dentist, she is the black one i camt remember her name, said "Im not giving you anything" flat out with a disrespect in her voice that added insult to injury. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
Truly the most helpful friendly doctor’s office I’ve ever visited. Benjamin V. helped me apply for Medicaid, kept in touch every step of the way, and made the process so much easier. The staff is always very friendly and I’m very grateful to have HealthNet as my primary care facility.
I have been bringing my daughter to Southeast Health Center for years. As health centers go, I must say that this is one of the friendliest, kindest staffed centers we have been to. There are others MUCH closer to our house, but we choose to go here. Dr. Feemster is an excellent physician. She caught my daughter’s scoliosis. She has always taken the time to build a relationship with us. The dental department has been excellent as well! I like going to a place where we are treated humanely and with kindness. I have seen people patients act unkindly and rudely, but NEVER staff nor doctors. We thank you very much Southeast Health Center for ALL you do!
