My grandson was supposed to have surgery, They said come in at 11:00 a.m For 1130 am surgery it's now 3 pm and they just got him in ,this is not acceptable. Waiting 4 hours now another 3 hours in surgery and then 45 minutes Just not acceptable.. My Grandson couldn't eat Or drink night before surgery that's like A-day and a 1/2 without drinking water and not eating.
So i had surgery here 2 weeks ago, and honestly the only people who gave me an amazing feeling about this place was nurse Jasmine and Dr. Roy. The wait time for me was quick, arrived at exactly 1 and was in by 1:15 to get ready for my surgery. My biggest problem was LVN Heather. She made me feel so horrible because i filled out my medical history incorrect 1 out of 2 things were incorrect and she was giving me such a nasty vibe and i just didn’t like her energy at all. She was irritated and smacked her hands on the desk a few times because how frustrated she was and rubbing her head showing so much frustration toward me. Oh and she was also speaking so rudely to me. At one point she even threw the leg compression on my bed, not tossed, THREW, which was so rude of her and unprofessional and she knew what she was doing, the sad part is even nurse Jasmine was giving her a look trying to let her know she was being so mean. I was worried to even say anything to her because she was going to insert my iv, sounds crazy but i was so sweet to her even after all she was doing. I have never wrote a review like this before. Ontario Advanced Center, please check LVN Heather because i would not like for any other person who is going in for surgery to have her energy around them , especially on her bad days. I will be calling in tomorrow now that i can finally speak to report her for her actions. And if there are any security cameras where i was at bed 4 i would like them to please review it so they can see what i’m referring too. Other than that, thank you Dr. Roy for my surgery!! & Nurse Jasmine for being a great nurse!!
The front stuff is a nightmare I had a 3pm appointment and other patients with 4pm appointment where seen before me. I didn't get a bed to 5pm. The nurses were try to put me as last patient for surgery when I had a 3pm appointment. The worst part is the nurse that work there get a procedure done and was placed before me for surgery. I complained to my surgeon and he demand an explanation and the stuff try to blame me like if I had any control of the wait time and intake of patients. The front desk stuff will also call you and to confirm your appointment and will change your time of appointment with out even asking you. The only good thing about this nightmare of a place is the doctors.
From the front desk, to the nurse who wheeled me out to car...great caring staff. Not sure why so many people have complained. I had nothing but top notch service, especially all the different nurses who attended to me. Would definitely go here again if needed!
I had been going here for quite a while for neck and back injections. I had the same intake nurse for all of my procedures except one, who was almost as good as the first. The recovery nurses were ok and so was the OR staff. Then came this anesthesiologist who was an obsolute nightmare. I told my doctor who wrote a note to make sure I didn't get him again. Well, that was a pain doctor. My gastroenterologist didn't know and because all of the anesthesiologists are on a heavy rotation schedule, what are the odds that I would get him again? Right? VERY WRONG! He was there again. From the time he came to my bed for the consult, he was disputing everything I said. I know my body. I have been in this body for over 40 years. He didn't listen. I was a having 2 procedures. I woke up through the first one gagging and hearing him make a racial remark/slur about me, in answer to a nurses comment. They didn't know I was awake or that I heard him. He pushed more meds in the IV and when I woke up in recovery, I had no voice due to what happened. My throat was on fire and I was livid! 2 of the nurses kept saying, well it's over, let it go, it's in the past. Even the manager, when he apologized, was a little dismissive. He did flag my chart, but the chances of me going back are about as good as a snowball surviving in a desert. When I told the nurses what he said, then they back tracked and stopped trying to defend him. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the insurance company as well the group he works with and the medical board. Something needs to be done. The sad part is that I am not the the only patient who has complained about him, but he is still working there. The fact that he is still employed as an anesthesiologist at all is mind blowing. Hopefully, he won't be for long...
Had knee replacement there all the nurses and Dr's were great very caring. Only issue I had was the front receptionist she was very rude has no business greeting patients.
I had surgery on my eyes on two different occasions. The care and service was outstanding. I would recommend them without reservation.
Awesome Staff and Doctors. Clean and organized.
3 hour wait for a 30 minute procedure, still haven't been seen yet
A five star surgery center.
