I ate in on a Saturday evening, around 7 pm. The very friendly staff all had masks, and the tables were properly separated for Covid safety. My dinner came out of the kitchen quite quickly, nice and hot. Delicious fish and two sides--and the portions were shockingly large. Good job!
This place is a hidden gem. I must say I've overlooked this beautiful establishment. The best soulfood restaurant in South Philly. Very friendly staff, And the owner is absolutely the best an very uplifting. The food is not pricey and very good. Husky size platters. Drinks are good. Great environment.
The chicken so good. Very crispy. Mac and cheese was also excellent. I will definitely be ordering again. That honey crack sauce was great.
