Fred Meyer

They've now lost a good customer. Went in this morning, 5/15/18, to buy some roast beef from the 'Grab and Go' and some rolls. There was nothing in the 'Grab and Go', so I went to the deli counter to get some cut. The employee there - don't know her name - simply ignored the woman in front of me, who left. The employee looked up at me and then went back to what she was doing. Nobody was there to provide service to anyone wanting deli items. Then it was off to the rolls, ordinarily $.50 each or 3 for $1 for one variety. I took 3 rolls and, since I was already there, I went cruising around for bargains. Found some Altoids with a shelf price of 2 for $3, so I took two. Much to my dismay, the rolls cost me $2.7 with the tax, and the Altoids $3.98. Now I spoke with the cashier about my bad experience at the Deli counter, and she called the Manager who did what Fred Meyer's management always does, He said, "I'll look into it." When I got home and realized that I'd been overcharged, I went back because I was still angry at how I was treated earlier. I returned the rolls and the Altoids, explaining that I was overcharged. The young man working the CS Counter was very helpful, and wanted to make it right. I told him that I was not interested in that. I wanted a refund, and promised never to shop there ever again. I should not that the only reason why I gave the place two stars is because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the young man at the Customer Service counter. Otherwise I would have given them 1 star because you can't give them zero. I used to do a lot of shopping at this Fred Meyer. It was always convenient and their meets and produce were always high quality and competitively priced. They won't see my few hundred dollars a month in purchases anymore. I would encourage anyone using this store to be very careful when checking out. They do not seem to train their people very well.

I have gone to this Fred Meyer twice recently and received great service. There is always an associate nearby. When I checked out tonight the attendant at self check out went above and beyond to check the shoes I was purchasing for an anti-theft device. I wish I would have asked his name to give him credit. Great job guys!

The deli sandwiches are ridiculously good! Even has a Starbucks and garden center. Appreciate all the organic foods and friendly service. Favorite large grocery store around (other than Trader Joe's) by a long shot!

Come here all the time. It's my favorite store. I was trying on a tennis elbow brace so I knew which one would fit. And an employee stops and stares at me, waits for me to feel awkward and start putting the product away, then slowly walks over and rudely says "I hope you can put that back together". As if I was going to steal the product. I folded it back up, closed it and gave him the same attitude he gave me. 1st of all those are meant to be opened so you can try the product on. 2nd the attitude is completely unnecessary, I was dressed in gym clothes not rags. I had planned on shopping for food but decoded to take my business elsewhere tonight. I believe his name was jerry.
