I don't come to Freeman as much but I am never disappointed when I do. Appreciate their selection of local beers and the ability to buy single can/bottle if I am wanting to try something new. The staff is always helpful and ready to recommend.
I recently moved to the area and found Freeman's. This has become my favorite liquor store as they have a better selection of beer and rum than I have seen in other stores. Prices are usually good but pay attention as I bought a six pack of ultra for double what it costs everywhere else. Went back in and checked - this price was stamped on all of the ultra six packs. I will pay closer attention next time.
As a big craft beer fan, this is my go-to place to buy beer. They always keep their stock up-to-date with a lot of options from local breweries. Huge stock of craft beer with big name breweries like Great Divide, Toppling Goliath, Rogue, and Voodoo - just to name a few. You can even get single cans/bottles and if there's just one of a 4/6-pack you want to try, they're more than happy to split it out for you. The staff is super friendly and really knowledgable about their stock!
Although they have a great selection of wines, spirits and imports, INSPEVT YOUR PRODUCTS BEFORE PURCHASING!!! I bought this box of wine see photos...I went to grab a new one but the guy told me it was perfectly fine and said he'd give me a discount since it was "only damaged packaging". When I got home and had a glass...it was spoiled and made me barf. That's when I took the bag out the box and saw MOLD in the box; the bag was not full and also discolored. So I checked the expiration date and it was expired by OVER 2 MONTHS!!! So the $3 discount wasn't a discount at all...instead, it was $10 down the drain...LITERALLY
You need cups! Also, shot glasses! Sigh everything else was just splendid. Nice variety. The Staff was also helpful as much as possible. Will return if ever in the area.
Excellent selection of liquor and wine. The variety of available tequila and gin is impressive. They have a nice little sake section as well.
Really disappointed. This was a recommended best place to buy local craft beer but after getting back to my hotel room and opening the first can it was nothing but foam. Checked the bottle-on date and it was 9/16/2019 almost two years ago. The other five cans were the same way. Guess I’ll buy elsewhere the next time I’m in town.
Well stocked, great selection, and friendly service. Our favorite neighborhood liquor store.
I did a month of sobriety so of course I went to Freeman's new beer shelves to see what I missed. Never disappointed. Google asked me update if Freemans has changed: Its still great. I don't live as close now so when I make it down I literally never make it past the new beer shelf. It's apparently blueberry beer season and Tulsa's Dead Armadillo makes a good one.
Freeman’s is my go-to shop. I used to live nearby. I don’t anymore, but I’ve kept coming back anyway. They do the best job in town on imported whiskey as well as imported and local beer. They’ll order kegs for you too with just a little notice. They are great with wine and have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Carly is always great for a wine recommendation and Rob does a great job with everything liquor. I’ve never been disappointed in any of his store picks. Bourbon is particularly a weakness of mine, so I look forward to their pics in the future. I operate an 18 member whiskey club for my friends and Freeman’s is always the first door I darken to get what we need.
