the drivers are well mannered and great    the new bags a big convenience since it was difficult to lug the boxes to the far away dumpster  away from my apt building.. the food is fine bu on rare occasions some items  have been too spicy and some times  food is missing.. but the customer is not charged for missing items.....   all in all,  it has been a life saver during my illness etc   very pleased..

I used to like Fresh Direct. 4 and 5 years ago they were a life saver when I was in Philly and pregnant and then I was excited when I moved to the suburbs that they started to deliver there. Lately it's been horrible. They don't know their own inventory, so all three of my recent deliveries were missing items and I had to go to the store anyway, which defeats their point. This is a convenience service so you DO NOT have to go to the store.  On top of it, they did a make up delivery with items it was missing and it was STILL MISSING items! I don't want any more credits from this company, I don't want any more aggravation from them, either. Their excuses are pretty lame. "We got a new facility...there was a flood...we're working on fixing things"...ok, just no. Do better. Get your facility, inventory and website working. A bonus: Some of our fruit was bad, a yogurt was completely bad, and they don't have the food at proper temperatures. Non perishables should not feel frozen when you get them, for example. They started off well and went down hill.

FreshDirect let me down.  I placed a catering order and had guests on they way when I that FreshDirect wouldn't be delivering the catering package I'd ordered.  Around 3AM when the order was expected the next afternoon they sent a message saying they were unable to fulfill the order,  but nobody called. They have all my contact information including phone number.  I find out they were standing me up when I called to ask about the delivery.  When somebody orders a catering package they are likely planning for company.  Finding out that your caterer has bailed on you at the last minute is a mess.   Poor order/inventory management + poor communication =poor customer service.

Always great quality food, nice drivers.  They have never missed a delivery.  This service really comes in handy with two teenage boys in the house, so you don't have to spend every weekend grocery shopping.  Just pay for delivery pass to save money on delivery charges.

They're driver crashed into my car and they will do NOTHING.

Called James at the Phila branch and Mark the Director of Transportation for the company. I am receiving NO response. 

As nice as I've been. What a way to handle a crash that your company is responsible for.
