I really don't think it is terrible place by any means the service was excellent and nothing wrong with quality. I am personally not a fan of the flavor combinations and would prefer a different type of bread and also was not fan of the ailoi sauce they use with eggs. I just did not get it. Hey maybe some people.like it and it has worked for them so far.
My favorite egg sandwich place of all time, and favorite place to grab breakfast in all of Portland!! I cannot emphasize how much I like the food here. Long wait, but the food is with your time! Fried egg I'm in love will be the first thing that I eat when I visit Portland again. Food I have tried the yolko ono, egg zeppelin, rito sauve burrito, and hash brown and they are all super super amazing! My favorite was the egg zeppelin though. On the sandwiches the bread is perfectly toasted, crunchy, but not hard, and just absorbs all the sauces. The eggs are perfectly cooked with the right amount of runniness. The meats are so flavorful and juicy and tasty. And if your sandwich has cheese then it makes it even better. Make sure to get the aardvark aioli as well you won't regret it! My girlfriend got the burrito so I just had a bite of it, but it was delicious as well. There is a good amount of filling and would be perfect for breakfast. The hash brown was one of the best I've ever had. Atmosphere A casual spot where you are lucky if you get seating. This place is packed in the weekends. Be prepared to take your food home and eat it. Inviting atmosphere and your mouth will start watering when you smell the food. Pricing Great prices for the quality and taste of the food. I've had place that have more expensive breakfast sandwiches but don't taste nearly as good. If you get the add-ons, it can add up though. Service Staff was nice and friendly, but they are definitely busy. You go up to the window to order food, go up and pick up your food, and bus your own table. Other Order your food ONLINE BEFORE you go to the restaurant. When I went on a Saturday morning at 10:30am, it was almost a 1.5 hour wait. I went again on a Monday morning at about 9:45am and it was still a 30 minutes wait.
Food is great but wait is not - seems like they are understaffed at the moment. Thankfully they were upfront about their wait time which was 45 minutes when I visited on a sunny Saturday morning, which is quite long for a breakfast sandwich they also had limited seating, I was thankful to snag a spot! Would come back when wait time is better
Came by about 30 minutes before closing and there was no line, but there were plenty of people still sitting and finishing foods. Sandwiches are really great and quick breakfast staple to munch on with bottomless drip coffee! Really well situated in SE Portland so you can walk by some shops and other coffee shops while you digest food. I got the yolko zeppelin with added aioli sauce, which I recommend as the sandwich can be a little dry without. Would come back again to try the mixed drinks! Hard to bring a large group of people but no matter as this place is definitely best enjoyed in a smaller group or just your best friend/life partner/pet/loved one!
Today was a great day but the highlight of the day was this morning, grabbing breakfast at Fried Egg I'm In Love. Was there a wait? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%. The one breakfast burrito I got, the Rito Suave, was delicious. The wait time for that single burrito was delightful also because I spent it listening to the people working in the kitchen singing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love". Really singing it, too, getting into it. 10/10 recommend I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my heart...
Okay I can start by saying breakfast is the best but the addition of sriracha and everything else they do here is by far the whole package to the breakfast infatuation. I recommend getting there as soon as possible and loving this place. The food is incredible and comforting, there’s drinks as well, the atmosphere is just as great! Just go!!
I am not a great fan of eggs but I did enjoy the breakfast sandwich. I had the 'Free Range Against The Machine‘ and it was delicious. For someone who doesn’t enjoy the runny yolk, can ask them to make the egg well done.

Long wait for food. The yolko ono I got was pretty good. The bread was toasted perfectly and everything was made well. Their hot sauce is also very good and quite spicy. Shout outs to the really friendly staff as well!Food: 4/5
Egg sandwiches were definitely something I thought I’d miss when I went plant-based/vegan. This satisfied my all my cravings!! Crispy hash brown patties forever.
