Traveling to NYC recently and got to try this cute brunch spot. We were party of four and got seated within five minutes on a Sunday morning. Place was really busy with indoor and outdoor seating available. The services was quick so if you are looking for quick in and out place with a great selection of brunch items, this is your place to be. Our server was great and super friendly. Loved the recommendations she made. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes, nova Benny, farm egg omelet, and avocado toast. Each of the dishes were cooked to perfection . The pancakes were so moist and fluffy. I also loved the mango pineapple lemonade it was so refreshing. Great brunch spot, highly recommend!
Came to this place on a busy Saturday for brunch. Wait time wasn’t long and we were pleasantly greeted. We used a QR code to view the menu and ordered our food which came right away. The food was delicious. My friend ordered the banana bread and didn’t enjoy but I liked it. It actually convinced me that you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. I inhaled my food and washed it down with a cute latte. I was very satisfied and I would definitely come back here.
Mediocre breakfast - wasn’t bad just wasn’t the greatest. Got the chicken and waffles, I liked the fried chicken thought it had a good crunch and it was pretty big size breast, thigh and wing. Got the eggs on the side, and wanted a potato hash to try the New York classic but part of it was cold and kinda too crunchy and which makes me think they mixed old and new potato hash together. Nice clean bathroom and aesthetic restaurant though and service was good.
While visiting NY we stopped in here for breakfast. We are glad we found this place because the experience was really great. The service was very friendly and attentive but not in an obtrusive way. The place is small so feel like we were lucky to walk right in and be seated. We were there on a Tuesday morning so it wasn’t busy. The seating is a little tight so there isn’t a lot of privacy for conversation. This definitely makes you want to eat and leave. The food was really good. I had the avocado toast and it was really good. The egg was cooked perfectly and the flavors were well blended and complimentary. My husband had the pastrami hash and felt it was really tasty. Overall this was a great find and if we lived here we would definitely come back.
This place is a good spot for brunch! I got an avocado toast, which was nice, and my friends ordered eggs any style + pancakes. The service is very fast. The atmosphere is pretty. On Tuesday morning there wasnt waiting to be seated.Food: 5/5
Almost everything on their menu can be made gluten-free the only thing that *cannot* currently be made gluten-free is the matzoh ball soup! There are several Friedman’s locations across the city and we have been to most of them. This location in Herald Square is conveniently located less than a block from Penn Station/Madison Square Garden. There is limited outdoor seating, and tables inside as well. We ordered the chicken and waffle entree as well as the Mac and cheese bites, both were gluten-free free and delicious. I was not a fan of the spicy honey chicken & waffles or spicy sauce served with the Mac and cheese bites, so I asked for regular syrup and ketchup instead. We also had a few drinks, which were very tasty. The Summer Passionfruit was good, the Yuzu Cocktail was interesting, and the Mango Lemonade was very sweet. Tell your server about any allergies, especially gluten-free, and they will serve your food with a special flag to ensure safety.
Really nice and cozy spot to catch a meal. Service was great from beginning to end. The food was absolutely fresh and plentiful! We went in around 10ish on Friday morning with no need to wait for a table. Definitely will go back!
Arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday and got seated immediately! The chicken and waffles were great. I loved the sweet and spicy sauce. The banana bread and strawberry compote was also wonderful. Would come back!
Ambience/Location: Nice overall interior. Plenty of tables but a bit too close together. It's popular so it feels busy with people buzzing about Service: Fast and Friendly. Food: unfortunately, the food let me down. I was very excited to try this place because of all the glutenfree options. I only tried the omelette, which is one of any brunch place's foundation dishes. I had the Farm Omelette and it contained a few pieces of wilted spinach and maybe a few onion sliced folded in between plain eggs. Served with barely warm bland hash browns and 2 half slices of gluten free bread. At $18, it was very disappointing and Overpriced for what you get. Other dishes going by looked good, so maybe go that route. Price: Overpriced for the quality of food. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free
Basic brunch spot. Crowded but moves fast - no wait for 3pax on a Saturday at 11:30am. Loved the pastrami hash with egg and toast! Comforting, easy, delicious. The salmon on potato latki was interesting. Wish the potato thing wasn’t as crispy and was softer.
