Friend's Pizzeria

I am deeply saddened about this place. Just moved back to Somerville after couple years and I couldn’t wait till I get to come back for their jalapeño poppers, Brazilian burger and pizza which WERE BOMB when I used to live here pre-Covid pizza night was twice a week with my roommates- now everytime I go they are either closed in operation hours or don’t have stuff and food isn’t as close to good as it used to be. Very unfortunate :/

Loved this pizza place! Freshly made grilled chicken pizza with broccoli and thin slices of tomatoes and onions with a generous amount of cheese on a thin crust. The wait time is worth it. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza as well, but didn't like it as much as the grilled chicken one.

Ive lived in the area, the pizza at one point was great and fresh and always made to perfection. Unfortunately whether it was the change in management, or just lack of motivation- the place seemingly fell from grace and its quality suffered. I hope and wish that they realize that they have one of the best spots in somerville, and have the potential to be a great pizza place in the area. Hopefully they see this from a customer who always bought from here and saw that they seemingly gave up on the establishment at some point. Kid-friendliness: Its in a school area, so inherently theyll be able to handle the influx of children and teens, as i was in fact one of them for nearly a decade.

Your friendly neighborhood pizza joint! Very convenient, ordered online, and picked-up the pizza right as it came out of the oven. The pizza was still steaming hot when I got home. Got the Hawaiian pizza and jalapeno poppers. It's not the fanciest, gourmet pizza I've ever had, but the food was hot, tasty and came in large, filling proportions that were great for the price. Also, it made me smile seeing all the kids coming by after school.

Very rude on the phone while i was placing an order. I told the first person delivery and he read off my address because I been going there for years. I ordered a kabob sub asked what came on it he didn't know put someone else on the phone. Finished ordering the rest of my food they put a third person on phone. I asked him if he had my whole order he read it back and of course it was not the whole order. So i repeated the order, he asked if that was it i said yes he said see you soon, i said no it supposed to be a delivery and he says i don't have your address and can i call back later. Umm no i was calling because i was hungry now. The people that use to own it were very polite and courteous. Now my food is always wrong and they act like they don't care.I will no longer go there. Updated under new management again, they sell chicken now, had some wasn't that great taste like the chicken out the box from the grocery store. I haven't been back but to each is own.

I have ordered from here on Uber Eats probably 50 times in the last 3 years. Orders are almost always perfect and on time. Pizza is FANTASTIC especially for the price. Portions of other meals are large. Overall I absolutely love this place and will continue to order frequently!

Went one night with my boyfriend. We were the only ones there at first, but the food still took a bit of time to receive. They messed the order up slightly too; I had ordered chicken wings and received the wrong kind. Our order was to go though and unfortunately I didn't realize until we were back home. I ate them anyway; they were crispy outside and very tender inside but tasted like they had no seasoning whosoever. Not sure if I want to give the place another try sometime for the kind of wings I actually had ordered or not.

ordered a broccoli chicken alfredo pizza and bacon cheeseburger sub. the pizza was very well made and tasted great and also did not fall apart when you picked it up but could have had more of the toppings on it. the sub was pretty good as well. overall good food at a good price and delivery was quick

This place is disgusting. I bought a large pepperoni pizza and 7 piece chicken wings. My children found several long pieces of hair in the pizza. When I returned the pizza the cashier offered me a 50% discount instead of returning my money. I plan to inform the board of health.

Ordered a calzone, and two sides. The Mac and cheese was as if it came from a kraft box, and the fried raviolis lacked flavor. Calzone was good enough, but lacking in flavor as well. Order was 30 minutes later than the latest expected delivery time.
